far to hilly
played course for the first time on 28/9/21 walked it with power caddie it nearly killed me. should have left golf clubs in the car and brought climbing boots and a rope, to say the course is hilly is an understatement the walk between the 9th and 10th was the toughest i ever faced .then played a very bland hole and then faced the same walk back down the mountain to play the 11th .i will say there are some very good holes on the course 2nd, 3rd and 6th standout, back 9 fairways very wet but by that time i just wanted to get off the course. .people working in the pro should make golfers aware of how hilly the course is nothing was said to me. NEVER AGAIN
Well designed course
A very well designed courselves with some great holes, 15th is a particular gem. Don't go in the rough, you won't find the ball. Most enjoyable day

Hidden Gem
The course is awesome nestled with the nature given layout. Some holes in the meadows some in the woods. Exept three holes you think you are alone. Greens are true and in a very good shape pace is decently fast. Staff is very friendly ! The Clubhouse is under construction, but that was no problem for us. It was an awesome relaxing vacation day. We‘ll be definitly back next year!
(The course is great for advanced as well as beginners. We play Hcp 5 and 12)

Farnham estate golf course is a beautiful american style parkland course and is part of the Radisson resort hotel and spa. The tees are better than your average green. Greens are fantastic. The course is long but a great layout with the front nine being open meadow and the back nine weaving through a dense forest. Some well placed water and bunkers are everywhere. Take a buggy. Great value and friendly staff. A proper club house and locker room would make it one of the best venues in Ireland.
A wee cracker
Lovely course get a buggy as it's long but that won't matter as you will enjoy the course.The Pro at the clubhouse could not be more helpful.We will be back again
