Got to Play This One. Join if you can.
Just a ton of fun to play for all levels of ability. Thoughtful tee options ensure just the right level of challenge and playability whether you shoot 60 or 120. Staff are the best. Always make you feel welcome and comfortable. For those who want to improve their game, the David Glenz Academy is located here. They took 5 strokes off my handicap in one summer. But, most of all the layout is just fun to play. A real variety of interesting holes.
Late Fall Invite
I've played here on numerous occasions, but not this late in November. The course was in EXCELLENT shape and the few leaves that were around didn't slow play at all. Believe it or not, NO Lost Balls due to leaves, just poor shots!!!
Greens rolled great and numerous upgrades were being implemented (new tees, shaping of banks, sodding,etc.)
There was a slight breeze and temperatures were around 50, pleasant and didn't feel cool at all for being so wide open.
Fairways, roughs, tees, greens, and bunkers were ALL in tremendous shape.
A great day for my 4some, 3 who hadn't played there previously!!!
Uphill & Downhill
The front nine is mostly uphill and does not have a lot of water. There is a lot of OB and woods where you can get into trouble. There are also Environmental Areas which are OB and you are not allowed to even walk into them and attempt to punch your ball back out. The front nine is also mostly uphill and contains a lot of false fronts on many of the greens. The back nine goes back down the same hill that the front nine goes up. This includes two short par 3's and a driveable par 4. I would not suggest walking this course because the holes are a good distance apart.
