Rock Ridge Golf Course

Couple of greens just feel a little tight to their surroundings (especially 9 &18), and the tee boxes seem to be a little worse for wear. Other than that good course that I’d come back to

Played here for the first time in 2026 yesterday and it’s worth the drive for the price! Good conditions and fun course. Pace of play is slow tho.

Greens are fast acceptable. Holes are well done. Fairways are clean and cut tea boxes on most of them are beautiful.

This is a nice course. They had a lot of rain for the 2days prior so it was cart path only and standing water. The greens were air rated. I will be back to play under better conditions. The course has a nice layout with some challenging hole. Not long but has couple of dog legs so you have to play smart golf. We definitely be back to play again.

Course is in great condition. Check was fast and friendly. I would recommend that to get the best pace of play get a very early Tee time. We had good pace of play but I was able to see groups starting to be on top of each other by around 8:30-9:00am. If you can get a very early tee time but definitely play this course.

Owners have definitely cleaned up the course since they first took over. Pace of play is still a bit slow. Definitely coming around!

Do not play here ever. I repeat do not play here ever. Horrible course. Awful condition. It took almost 5:30 hours to complete 18 because they pack the place insanely out of control with no care for pace of play.

Great course. Great staff.. awesome lay out...and to top it off... Saw various wildlife...Including a black bear. I personally thought that was so Awesome... cant wait to play there again

Wow, I can’t believe this is the old Minebrook golf course. Lots of improvements made definitely will be back.

Layout can be challenging due to the dog legs. Liked the in cart yardage screen.

I had written this course off as a forgotten dirt track where 5 hour rounds are the norm and course condition did not matter to the management. The greens are now great and the rest of the course is being well cared for. Glad to see a really fun loop getting some love, will definitely go back.

Rock Ridge aka “Minebrook” has risen. Growing up this course was a “beginner” course to be polite. I was very pleasantly surprised with the overall course conditions. Greens were rolling really well, tee boxes were great, and the rough and fairways were healthy. This has to be the best deal and value in Morris County. $60ish for 18 with a cart and lunch!?! I’ll be back for sure.

Course was in very nice shape. The greens rolled fast and true.

Biggest problem is that it took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to play the course. Brutal. Rangers were riding around the course, but did nothing to speed up the pace of play. The group in front of us had an entire hole open ahead of them, yet nothing was done to speed things up!! That is my biggest gripe, other than that, it's a nice course.
