Flanders Valley Golf Club - White/Blue Course

About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Cold round
Classic long fairways with older trees. 4 temp greens today.
Flanders 1/14/21
Good condition for the winter. Very challenging and a hard walk with all the slope changes. Paid $20 to play 14 holes, not too shabby
Winter conditions, only had the gold 9 open. All tees moved to front of tee box. Walking only. Happy to get one more round in before end of year.
Played in early December, frost delay but the staff was very accommodating getting us off as soon as they could. Sweet design, easy walk, greens were recently aerated but fairways were in good shape. Definitely will put this course in my rotation.
Horrific pace
Course had jr tournament right smack in the mid day that everyone behind them just gave up and turned around. It took one hour and 10 min to play 2 holes!!!! Starters should have warned us before letting us out. It was ridiculous. Very poor management!
November Golf
Course was in Great condition considering all the rain we had for 2 days prior. Fairways and greens were clear of leaves. Greens were slow speed due to all the rain. I was able to stay out of the bunkers but they were average condition. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pace of play was good too.
First time playing here and can't wait to play in the warmer months.
Overall, I was very happy playing today.
Billy Casper sold the course.
Sad they refuse to maintain it. Rough is 10". Easily list balls in the FAIRWAY because the won't cut the grass..Sand is nonexistent in the traps.
Flanders valley red to gold
