Minnesota Gem
Played Loggers Trail Golf and was pleasantly surprised. It is a fair but challenging course with adequate pace greens and tee boxes and fairways with character. The rolling terrain around the course is what gives it good views. The staff was inviting and if you are a first time player, you may get complementary range balls before your round. Played with some great local guys with one even a club champ of the course. He quietly, shot a 70 for the day. If ever in MN again, Loggers is on the list right after I play Keller.
Overpriced
Course is overpriced, consideing St. Croix is just down the road with a better course, carts, staff, and pro shop. The 'Pro Shop' is basically a shack. I advise if you're gonna book here, look up St. Croix first.
Loggers is one of the best
Loggers has been one of my favorite hidden gem courses in the Twin Cities. It might not be as “hidden” as it was before, but this is a great Twin Cities track.
Pace of play is always good. Course is always in great shape. The staff does a great job running the place.
Fun course to play with plenty of unique holes. Driving range is great hitting onto an island green. I could see Loggers competing as one of the best in the Twin Cities in a few years.
A course that needs to be played
If you are in MN, play this course. It is two courses in one. Woods and Links all on one course that has many holes that play down hill. This truly helps the ego of golf.
Lost a few balls not knowing where to play. If you play above the tree line the wind WILL get you.
Great shape and layout
Great course and very underrated, a mix of traditional and links style. Clubhouse and food are the only negative of the course.
Good course, poor staff
Golf course is in a great condition, tightly mowed everywhere. Staff over charged our group for the round although half was paid through Golfnow. Went in to get refund, but they tried to make up reasons. Won't be back.
Highly recommended
For first round of 2024 I felt the course was in really good condition! I’m looking forward to the completion of the creek along 17 & 18!
