Loggers Trail
Course is challenging but fair with ample fairways!
Fairways were in outstanding shape. Only thing I rated a little lower was that the greens were recently treated and had sand added so were a little slow but putted true for most part. They have a nice 2 for 1 drink special for your after round beverages in the clubhouse with premium liquor for drinks.
Aeriation
I know it needs to be done but why do courses charge full price for a damaged golf course! Lots of sand on the greens! Otherwise fun day!
Great Course!
Overall great course, love the layout. Different challenges on each hole. Would definitely recommend playing if you haven’t yet. Staff was great in the pro shop, friendly and funny. Check this place out!
Tough course…Course in excellent shape…Slow play however…They need a ranger on course to speed up play…5 hours midday is too long.
One of the best in Stillwater area
I’ve played all the public courses in Stillwater area. This one is definitely worth your time. I find my self playing here more than any other course. They take really good care of the course, staff is always nice. Including grounds crew. Sometimes pace of pace gets a little slow but what course doesn’t have that issue. You also get free range balls before your round which is cool.
Overall great course. Wish it was just a bit less expensive but it does seem like more of the money goes back into maintaining the course rather than a fancy clubhouse or a golf cart that has 57 electronic features. I still think they could shave a few bucks off, but I also know nothing of the costs of operating the course. But I would play more if it was slightly less expensive.
Sunday Funday
Great Course Friendly Staff great value! Highly recommended be sure to check this course off your list!
Hidden gem
We play here whenever we are in Minneapolis/StPaul and the golf is always fantastic!! People from check in desk to starter are always friendly and very pleasant, the course is in perfect shape and layout is very good with fairways mostly wide open ! The driving range is also incredible. I’d get a membership for sure if I was a local resident
My favorite course
I am from Virginia and my friends and I come here every year to play golf for the week. This course is our favorite course and we play here at least 2 to 3 times during the week. This year, we are playing here four times. Course layout is interesting and it’s always in great condition. The staff is incredibly friendly. The course is also very reasonably priced For everything you get.
Minnesota Gem
Played Loggers Trail Golf and was pleasantly surprised. It is a fair but challenging course with adequate pace greens and tee boxes and fairways with character. The rolling terrain around the course is what gives it good views. The staff was inviting and if you are a first time player, you may get complementary range balls before your round. Played with some great local guys with one even a club champ of the course. He quietly, shot a 70 for the day. If ever in MN again, Loggers is on the list right after I play Keller.
