Overpriced
Course is overpriced, consideing St. Croix is just down the road with a better course, carts, staff, and pro shop. The 'Pro Shop' is basically a shack. I advise if you're gonna book here, look up St. Croix first.
Loggers is one of the best
Loggers has been one of my favorite hidden gem courses in the Twin Cities. It might not be as “hidden” as it was before, but this is a great Twin Cities track.
Pace of play is always good. Course is always in great shape. The staff does a great job running the place.
Fun course to play with plenty of unique holes. Driving range is great hitting onto an island green. I could see Loggers competing as one of the best in the Twin Cities in a few years.
A course that needs to be played
If you are in MN, play this course. It is two courses in one. Woods and Links all on one course that has many holes that play down hill. This truly helps the ego of golf.
Lost a few balls not knowing where to play. If you play above the tree line the wind WILL get you.
Great shape and layout
Great course and very underrated, a mix of traditional and links style. Clubhouse and food are the only negative of the course.
Good course, poor staff
Golf course is in a great condition, tightly mowed everywhere. Staff over charged our group for the round although half was paid through Golfnow. Went in to get refund, but they tried to make up reasons. Won't be back.
Highly recommended
For first round of 2024 I felt the course was in really good condition! I’m looking forward to the completion of the creek along 17 & 18!
Good course
Staff were great, I always appreciate that. The course was in great condition for March 15th. Some challenging holes but I enjoyed the layout. I’ll definitely play there again.
All Around.
This was my first time at Logger’s Trail, and I will come back. A really unique layout incorporating many mounds, a winding stream bed and water and trees to keep you honest.
Mi went out as a single and was matched up with course golf pro, Andy. He was very cool, giving me tips and tricks of the course throughout the round, making for a fun experience. Thanks, Andy. Hope to see you out again sometime., when I come back to the course. 🤘🏽
Expensive for what it is.
The course is very challenging and strategic, but so are so many around it that are 20% and more less. The greens and tee boxes were in good shape (4 of 5) and the traps and fairways were value course sand (3 of 5). There was no cart Sunday late and the clubhouse is not the place to have lunch after (they have a kiosk outside where there is grilling done, but is not always open.
It would be part of a rotation for a good golfer if it was 15-20% cheaper, otherwise it’s a hard sell for me or my friends.
Great price, and course was in good condition
Great price, and course was in good condition. Greens have recovered from plugging. Had a great hamburger at the turn. Completed the round in just over 4 hours.
One of my favorites
Course was in excellent shape! Quickly becoming my favorite course. No bev cart or grill/drink shack on a friday afternoon was a little surprising but not any sort of a deal breaker. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone that loves the game
