Great round
The course is kind of standard but it was the member that made it fun. Caught up with 2 lads who asked me to join. Was a good crack.
Nice enough course for a knock
Cracking course
Some testing holes & greens running true. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Overall a great day out.
Fourth round
Always feels like the course is being taken care of by enthusiastic dedicated people Very welcoming staff especially in the comfortable 19th
In my top four as a golfing nomad
Excellent afternoon at Burnham on Crouch
First - what a welcome from the home pro Ken; a real gent and so enthusiastic about his home course. We were made to feel very welcome!
Course is expansive and allows you to hit off the tee without too much trepidation but you still have to strategically play the dog legs.
Greens fab - true and fast. You know if you have missed a putt early in its journey towards the hole!
Scenic yet unexpectedly hilly too.
We will return!

Friendly club, great views
Quite short and easily walkable, even if you're carrying your clubs (as we were). The first nine are mainly doglegs, while the last nine are straighter and wider. Wind was a definite factor to consider on the day we played (as the course is pretty open to the elements).
The course is set pretty high up and provides some beautiful views on a clear day.
Didn't have the greatest round, but still really enjoyed it.
Great course
I'd heard good things and it didn't disappoint. Only negative was a member moaning at us that our tee time was in the middle of their round and they should go first, even though it only clashed as they chose to do the back 9 first. Anyway...
Course was great, condition was lovely, no issue with any fairways or greens. Bunkers are aggressive so if you can avoid them you'll love it even more. And on top of that the views of the countryside and river crouch are almost always on show which is great.
Great course
Brilliant day out, course was in great condition for February. Some challenging holes & very scenic layout. Staff very friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Fantastic views
Course in great condition for the time of year, lovely views of river Crouch, staff, members all very friendly & clubhouse serve tasty food, nothing to dislike about this club
Great Views
Loved playing this course in tranquil location. Since last visit new smart stylish tee boxes on 10th and 18th. Greens fast and true. Beautiful location to look at if golf going badly. Playing partner encounterd a grass snake with think whilst searching for ball in rough to left of 12th hole. Gladly it slithered further into the flora.
Good course with panoramic views
Not the longest course but the rough punishes anything wayward off the tee, greens where good, tee areas a bit variable, pro was very helpful. Fantastic views all around, would recommend we had a very enjoyable afternoon.
Great corse
This has to be the best drained course in the area, whilst most other courses were closed burnham was remarkably dry and fairways were bouncing and running. The pros were great, gave me a quick run through of where to go and what to hit which turned out quite handy. Playing as a solo the members were polite and let me play through. Overall a brilliant experience and would highly recommend. If these a better course locally I’m yet to find it.
