Crondon Park Golf & Country Club - Willows Edge Course

Wish I had read the other reviews on this site before heading off. Wasn't expecting much for 5 quid, but this was an absolute joke, no distinction between "fairways" or "greens" whatsoever, all just reminiscent of your local park. Missing flags, box tees, oversized holes, missing holes (the 2nd was out of action as it didn't have one). Avoid.

The course is an absolute disgrace. Wildly overgrown, completely neglected, and the greens are non-existent. You cannot even call it a practice course. The fact that any self-respecting golf club would advertise this and charge money for it is beyond me.

I could not even be bothered to complain on the day — my embarrassment at having paid £5 for that was enough. You are better off hitting balls in a wild garden.

Sort it out or stop advertising it. Other people deserve to know what they are actually paying for.

Such a shame it’s been allowed to rot and over grow,

1 hour a day per hole over 1 month would turn it around and get more money in. Tee boxes bare or overgrown, Hole two flag missing completely. Greens need lots of help practically non existent. The cost of £5.00 is to expensive plus as said before a waste of money. All it needs is one hour a day per hole and fairways and this could be turned around in one month.

It needs lots of help that could be done in a month.

The sort par 3 isn’t maintained at all greens are terrible and the course layout is confusing, definitely not worth playing on this course at any level. Will never return to play this course despite it being £5
