Starcke Park Golf Course
About
Situated on the north bank of the Guadalupe River, Starcke Park Golf Course (formerly known as Max Starcke Park Golf Course) stretches across a scenic landscape of century-old pecan trees. The golf course is easy to walk being of mostly flat terrain. Trees line the fairways, making accurate tee shots top priority in scoring well. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course and water hazards coming into play on a few holes for added challenge. Starcke Park Golf Course’s signature hole is the par-4 finishing hole, which requires a tee shot down a narrow fairway bordered by pecan trees on the right and a pond on the left. Considered one of the best municipal golf courses in Texas, Max Starcke Park G.C. also offers a practice and putting green and driving range.

Nice open course
The course was nice and fun, for this beginner. I would definitely recommend and look forward to enjoying this course again!
Ist time at the course
The course was in pretty good shape being august in south Texas. Staff very friendly and helpful since it was my first time playing here. Pace of play was good around 4hrs.
Excellent as always,
The guys behind the counter were very nice and engaging
Felt like a municipal course
Key word…long holes. Not a lot of challenge, unless you can’t hit the long ball, or string together a bunch of straight shots. I was impressed with the nice green fairways this deep into summer. Greens need work, but decent course for the money.
Great open and rolling course. Green rolled great.
A very open and rolling course for the public to enjoy. Being I was an outsider here on vacation, I certainly respect the staff and club members. The senior players I was paired up with made for an enjoyable round.
You Get What You Pay For
Not a great course but if you’re passing through Seguin and looking for a round at a reasonable price this is okay. Especially good for bombers because fairways are wide and trouble off the tee is scarce. Need to bump it in the fairway and slow greens but again not a resort price.
Consistent
Pretty open course. Course stays in good shape. Greens are 7 out of 10 or better year round.
Wednesday group
We play eery Wednesday. Pace was less than 4 hours, course condition was good, grrens needs work but with upcoming renovation its ery understanble
Best bang for your buck in the area!
