Great Golf Course
Greens were fast and true, fairways in great shape, rough is very thick and tall. Recommend mowing a 3 foot boarder around the fairways that are 1" taller than the fairways, but not as tall and thick as the rough. If you miss the fairway by 1 foot, you are severely impacted because the rough is very thick and tall - I had a hard time coming close to hitting my number or hitting straight out of the rough - it was just too thick. The rough made it difficult to find your ball as well, which can slow down play. But, that is the life of golf, just a friendly recommendation.
Great Hill Country Track
It’s a little frustrating that you can’t take your golf cart into the parking lot to load and unload but everything else is fantastic. This is a great layout in the Back nine is exceptional!
Sanded Greens
The greens were sanded this time, which made the putting less consistent from green to green. Last week, the green were true, consistent, and quick. This week they were slower, inconsistent, and a bit wonky at time. Still a wonderful course - ask about the greens before booking a tee time. Luckily, I used golf now, so I did not pay full price. Otherwise, I would have been frustrated.
Would play again
Enjoyed my round at Kissing Tree. Got pair with three residents who were very friendly and gave insights on where to play the ball. The local knowledge was helpful. Would definitely play here again. No complaints.
Great course!
Loved Kissing Tree. Greens were pure. Layout was awesome. Enjoyed the course and the layout. Will definitely be back.
Enjoyed the course
Nice course. Well maintained. Updated carts with digital screens. Pretty open fairways with moderate hazards.
Just ok
Showed up early to get food, it took 40 minutes. Drove to the range and got shouted at by the starter to show receipts. Got hit into on the first hole and the Marshall shouted at our group until finally hearing what happened. Didn’t see the cart girl until the 9th hole and not again after that on a Saturday afternoon. Went to get dinner after and the restaurant closes at 6 pm on a Saturday. Bummer of a day. Other than that the greens run a bit weird but the rest of the course was in great shape.
This place is beautiful everyone was very friendly course was in great shape would play 100 more times if i could.
Sauceda's Golfing Trip
The course was in great shape, humidity was high but it was worth it. First time playing this course with my son...we had a great time.
Thanks,

A course that relies on the land
This was my first time playing Kissing Tree and I left satisfied but wanting more from the course.
The staff was friendly from the porter that takes your bag at the drop-off, the proshop staff, and the starter. The cart girl was nice, but we only saw her once the whole round, I was told that is normal and to get what you want when you do see her.
Practice facilities are really nice, there is a large putting green, and a seperate chipping green with alot of practice balls to use. I didn't get to use the driving range as it was closed due to an evening event. This is a good place to take advantage of a full pregame warm up.
I was paired with two other singles and we teed off on time. The starter did a great job at keeping the groups going out. Pace of play was good we never waited more then a few minutes at a couple of tee boxes and never waited in the fairway for a group to clear the green. We were also never pushed by the group behind us.
The course was in good shape for July, green and lush and the greens were running fast, a little fast if I'm honest for the contour. All of the teeboxes were flat and grass. Sand trips were fine white sand, and I did find them once. The rough is native so the ball is most likely lost if you hit it OB for most of the course.
The layout was a simple straight hole layout with a fairway landing area bunker and greens that are protected by a front or lateral bunker, there is water on the course but only comes into play on 17 for longer hitters. The few dog legs were a natural change of direction once your shot landed, no risk, reward to them.
Now where the course defends itself is in the terrain, more specifically the natural topography. The course is made to overlay the natural land, fairways are sloped and will take your ball with them, the elevation makes you confident you can carry it, and then you realize the club wasn't quite enough. And the greens had some crazy breaks and rewarded you with a good read and speed, but punished you with a lazy putt. Pin placement was fair, and if the green keeper was ever grumpy, Lord help you.
My personal opinion, and that's all this is, I prefer a course that has more risk/reward for club selection and course management for the layout. If you moved up or back a tee box to adjust the landing area it would slightly change that but the layout would have you take a longer or shorter club.
Will I play here again, Yes. Would I pay full price, No. There are other courses in the area that are as nice with similar pricing or cheaper and offer a more unique course layout. There was no signature hole or some aspect of the round that would make me want to go back and try it different.
Course condition
This course is in EXCELLENT SHAPE!! The fairways, greens are beautiful!! Go and enjoy paying Kissing Tree! You will love it!
They have a bag drop where you can pull right up and load/unload so you don't have to carry your bag.
