About
Situated on the north bank of the Guadalupe River, Starcke Park Golf Course (formerly known as Max Starcke Park Golf Course) stretches across a scenic landscape of century-old pecan trees. The golf course is easy to walk being of mostly flat terrain. Trees line the fairways, making accurate tee shots top priority in scoring well. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course and water hazards coming into play on a few holes for added challenge. Starcke Park Golf Course’s signature hole is the par-4 finishing hole, which requires a tee shot down a narrow fairway bordered by pecan trees on the right and a pond on the left. Considered one of the best municipal golf courses in Texas, Max Starcke Park G.C. also offers a practice and putting green and driving range.

Friendly Staff!
Course was in real good condition for winter season, play was fast even as a large high school group was there to practice for next days tournament. Staff was at its best! Made adjustments to accommodate us while the high school kids played. Great value and centrally located.
Nice layout.. greens were good, fairways didn’t have much grass

Course was wipe open, easy to play for inexperienced golfers. Still has challenges for the better golfers. Cost is very reasonable through the app.
Golf in Seguin
Starcke Gold course is a good city course. Greens could be better, tee boxes needed to be cut. Pet peeve, golfers RAKE the sand traps after you finish in them, repair your ball marks on the greens.
Good Little Municipal Track
No frills, not the greatest conditions but overall a good walk of a decent municipal golf course. Course was kept in the shape I would expect and had some holes that were interesting. No frills clubhouse and practice area.
Excellent golf course
Starcke is a well designed, great municipal golf course. Have played this course since the early 60's. It's just a good, solid golf course. What you see is what you get.
Staff is great and the course is well managed.
Starke Park
Got there at 8:30 and off by 11:00 - Bad golf doesn't have to take long! It's winter, golf course is in good shape. All of the greens had some poa annua on it, 17 I think was bumpy. The rest were fine. Easy walk or ride, I liked it and would go back anytime.
This course could use some water.
The course was dry from lack of water. The tee boxes were in poor shape, rough with little grass.
Ol'School style
The course was in good shape last year, it reminds me of the the courses my father used to take when I was a kid, nothing fancy, straight up good ol golf, you do have to work the ball, which is how Golf is supposed to be played not always hitting it 500 miles.
