About
Situated on the north bank of the Guadalupe River, Starcke Park Golf Course (formerly known as Max Starcke Park Golf Course) stretches across a scenic landscape of century-old pecan trees. The golf course is easy to walk being of mostly flat terrain. Trees line the fairways, making accurate tee shots top priority in scoring well. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course and water hazards coming into play on a few holes for added challenge. Starcke Park Golf Course’s signature hole is the par-4 finishing hole, which requires a tee shot down a narrow fairway bordered by pecan trees on the right and a pond on the left. Considered one of the best municipal golf courses in Texas, Max Starcke Park G.C. also offers a practice and putting green and driving range.

Awesome course
Only a short drive to Sequin nestled among the pecan trees and The Guadalupe is a great course that will bring you back for more! Great value!!
Couldn’t get a cart 45 minutes before my tee time to take to the range, cart wasn’t available until 5 minutes before tee time. Fairways were in terrible shape, overgrown, couldn’t tell where one fairway ended, the rough began, or the next fairway. All the holes overlapped each other this way. Sand traps were like cement.
Greens in surprisinly good shape for how poor the course was overall

I recommend this course for all regular golfers and challenge yourselves from the blue tees
No happy
We started out slow. There was a foursome with cart but they start walking down the fairway the marshal had to tell them to let us thru twice. The greens were very slow and bumpy. Wasn’t happy for what we paid for not worth the price. Will not play again. First and last time.

Starke is a great learning course. It's challenging for the experienced golfer as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Enjoyable and Affordable!
The Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. This is a Great course to work on your iron shots and let your driver rip... I will be back soon.
