About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business.
Treeline started back in the 1950s when the Hodges family build a 3-hole pasture course on their dairy farm. Friends persuaded them to add an additional 6 holes, and the popular Tomball track eventually added the full 18-hole experience.
The layout is short and sweet, playing just over 6,000 yards from the tips. Water comes into play on 12 holes, and the numerous trees cause all kinds of problems. No. 4 is the most difficult par 4 due to its 450-yard length. Of the par 3s, Nos. 3 and 17 both play a good ways over water. No. 9 is the best par 5, playing 498 yards with an approach shot into a peninsula green.
Getting there : From FM 1960, take Hwy. 249 north to Spring Cypress Rd. Turn left, then 1 mile away turn right on N. Eldridge Parkway.
