Played while tourney was going. Staff was alittle busy but that was not a problem at all.
For value the course is fighting for the number one spot. Greystone sister course is just as great as well. Definitely I’m two favorite courses in Little Rock area
Fun Course
It has been a few years since I’ve played this course. It was in fantastic shape. Some quirky holes, but fun to play. Staff was very friendly. Practice areas were adequate.
Great layout, exceptional fairways, just needs a little TLC
Overall, this course has a fantastic layout and is this close to being in pristine condition.
The Good: The fairways are absolutely exceptional right now. The greens were recently aerated but have recovered incredibly well—they are already playing nearly perfect.
Needs Improvement: The tee boxes are looking a bit tired and could use some maintenance. The bunkers also need some serious attention; they looked completely unraked, almost like they hadn't been touched since the last rainfall.
With a little extra care on the boxes and hazards, this place would be a 10/10. Still highly recommend for the layout and fairways alone!
It’s ok at best
The course is great, no water or food available idk why
Course needs some work all the way around
I’ve been thru here enough to know that the course is the best part of the whole experience but even that needs work. Most greens have dead spots, the fairways are missing place where dirt is all there is to hit off of. The restaurant/bar is just a bar. I mean how do you have no food at all at noon on a Saturday. For 65$ that’s pretty much inexcusable. I mean throwing a hotdog on link cooker and turning it on is pretty easy. Burns park cost $45 and they have hotdogs and burgers. The greens at north hills has a full menu they will cook fast. To have a full restaurant and serve nothing is pathetic. I come here all the time and now it will be sometime before I come back. They really ticked me off yesterday and no one was out on he course speeding anyone up. 5hrs is too long for 2 ppl scrambling and shooting around par. We had to wait 10-15 mins a shot because the geezer group don’t care to let anyone play thru. Get it together guys. For real. Or lower the price.
Did you only go into the club house to check-in? They have hotdogs, sandwiches and other foods available. I would invite you to go back and take another look at the greens also.
Great Shape
The course is in great shape. The greens were recently punched but they’ve grown in nicely and they’re rolling true & fast. Just a few are a little bumpy around the edges. I played on a Monday so the pace of play was as fast as I wanted to go. I’ve recently played ten different courses and it’s in better shape than most. Play Greystone, you won’t be disappointed.
Pretty Good Course
Overall this was a pretty solid course. A little overpriced. Carts were new and very nice. Tight fairways.
Another great round
Was disappointed to hear they may not accept Golf Now anymore as there seems to be a payment issue.
Hope they get it resolved as it may be the best deal in our area!
Losing the greens
Highly disappointed how the course has turned out. Range doesn’t have any targets, no water buckets to clean clubs, range balls had mud on them, trash was all over the cart return area and all around the dumpster in the parking lot, no water jugs out on the course anymore, no sand on the carts to fill divots, greens are dying, several tee boxes were overgrown, etc. Shocking how bad this course is now.
Not worth the price
8:30 am tee time. Paid $60 for tee time, arrived at 8:00. Range balls weren’t free, range was in shambles, balls were shot, irons only. First hole green may be the worst green I have ever seen, I’ve played fairways cut tighter. Course has so much potential but such bad maintenance. Don’t get your hopes up if you’re a first timer. Pay the extra 20 and go play cypress creek.
The review you left was for Cypress.
Cabot golf
Fairways were in nice shape. Greens looked nice but many of the greens had blotchey spots that cause tour ball to not roll true and even bounce at times. One of our carts was very slow moving so it caused some pace od play interference. Staff was nice to let us go out early.
Good round
First time playing this course. Enjoyed it. It was pretty crowded so the pace was slow. Greens were in great shape.
Good for value.
The course was in really good shape. The greens were a little slower than usual. They appeared to have been sanded recently.
A must play!
Greystone is in excellent shape! Do not leave any downhill putts.
There is food and water along with many other refreshments available at the turn.
