Good round
First time playing this course. Enjoyed it. It was pretty crowded so the pace was slow. Greens were in great shape.
Good for value.
The course was in really good shape. The greens were a little slower than usual. They appeared to have been sanded recently.
A must play!
Greystone is in excellent shape! Do not leave any downhill putts.
Beautiful course
Fabulous fairways. We have had our church tournament here for the past 2 years
Enjoyable challenge
Greystone offers a change from other central Ar play. Great turf on fairways, nice greens, woods and water to make the play interesting. Not many playing last week at all but have been there and was trapped behind 5 somes before. Might want to call for good placement. Nice grill. Range and putting green. Twilight play is a bargain at $15. Enjoy!
Scenic Course
I want to go back and play again! It was the first time playing this course and I didn't have my best stuff which would of helped a great deal. They greens are faster than the courses I usually play so spend some time at the practice green to get comfortable with the speed. The course rewards accuracy very well and it is a great layout!! Have fun it's only golf.
High view of the valley
beautiful vista as you hit up and down the hills of Greystone....lots of risks reward opportunities..
Great course, but with problems with play
I docked this course one star due to the problems I will list, but I do love the course. Fantastic greens that roll true, and nice fairways where the ball sits up well.
This is one of the few courses the public can play in the Little Rock area, and it's in Cabot, northwest of Little Rock, about 25 minutes from downtown. Living in Houston TX, I consider that close :) The course is beautiful, with quite a bit of elevation and great views. The course is fairly open, and where it isn't, the rough is not terribly thick. Even if you hit it in the trees (which I did) there generally was at least a sideways punch out available. My problem was with the play on the course. First of all, I never saw a marshall all day. Second, I had a foursome in front of me that never allowed me to play through, even on one occasion where they had to wait about five minutes to tee off. Poor golf etiquette, and I eventually just passed them without asking. What was next was even worse. Four golf carts with SIX players together! Too me it was obvious many in these two groups were novice golfers (most wore blue jeans, and I love blue jeans, but not on a golf course). Thankfully, there was one player in the sixsome who waved me on through. I would easily give this four stars if not for the lack of a beverage cart, marshall, and lack of golf etiquette of players on the course. Still, I would highly recommend this course, just understand that you should probably load up on your beverages beforehand, and be ready to pass up groups that don't or won't allow you to play through.
