Friendly staff and always a great place to golf ⛳️!
The course was decent. The staff was overly friendly. The food wad great after we played. A couple of the holes were hard to find and one we weren't sure what green we were going for. A few of the greens were close together. Overall the course was decent. I will play again

Fun and Challenging Course
I have always enjoyed playing this course. They do have issues with keeping grass on parts of some of their fairways and on several of their tee boxes. I still enjoy playing the course, but just don't plan on playing the ball down.
Anniversary play
We arrived and we met Ron who was very welcoming and got us a few gifts since it was our first time playing Hlenwood. Would definitely come back and recommend to play this course.
Tight fairways with areas of dirt and rocks and roots
The fairways are pretty tight. There are several areas, especially along the sides, where there is no grass, so just rocks and roots. The greens were generally in decent shape, with a few bad spots.
I wanted to walk, but the guy at the pro shop discouraged me. I wish I had. Other than a long walk to #13, it is an easily walkable course.
I tried to order food after the round, but the people there did not know how to prepare the items on the menu (grilled cheese).
Overall, a decent course and a good bargain for the price.
BS on Natural Golf Trail
No grass in the fairways or on the greens. Every green runs at a different speed. The only grass is in the roughs. The golf cart paths are disgraceful, they beat you to death. Yardage markers are sometimes correct but not very often. How did this course get such a prestigious claim?
