Tight fairways with areas of dirt and rocks and roots
The fairways are pretty tight. There are several areas, especially along the sides, where there is no grass, so just rocks and roots. The greens were generally in decent shape, with a few bad spots.
I wanted to walk, but the guy at the pro shop discouraged me. I wish I had. Other than a long walk to #13, it is an easily walkable course.
I tried to order food after the round, but the people there did not know how to prepare the items on the menu (grilled cheese).
Overall, a decent course and a good bargain for the price.
BS on Natural Golf Trail
No grass in the fairways or on the greens. Every green runs at a different speed. The only grass is in the roughs. The golf cart paths are disgraceful, they beat you to death. Yardage markers are sometimes correct but not very often. How did this course get such a prestigious claim?
Great Course
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. It was also nice to see their maintenance people out working on areas that may have needed a little worn.

course was about 25 minutes from where we stayed in hot springs, it was well worth the drive. it has some beautiful par 3's.golf pro was very friendly. make the drive.
