Challenging but fair. Position is key especially on greens. Ample fairways but hit the right spot…. Layout and sculpting is beautiful. Play it before all the homes come in and on a calm day if possible. Some truly memorable holes and kept in very good shape. Great service and food at bar/restaurant afterward.

1st time playing Red Hawk. Very challenging course, but the different sets of Tee Boxes make it playable for intermediate level players. Well maintained fairways, fast greens, deep bunkers. Beautiful views from all over the course of nearby mountains and desert. Staff was friendly. Be prepared for windy conditions. Most of back nine plays into the prevailing winds.

This is my favorite course to play. El Paso courses have gone downhill and this course is the golf standard. I wish that I lived closer so that I could play or practice here every day.

Course is well set up for high handicappers (like me) or lower. Plenty of tees for length options, plenty of challenges with traps and - even on a desert course - water hazards. Course was accommodating for my game while providing a challenge if / when I got out of position. Greens ran true. Staff incredibly friendly, including the marshals. Great value for money. Can't wait to play it again.

Always a great challenge, best course in las cruces

The fairways are some of the best in the area. The greens are in great shape and have nice undulations. The practice area is tremendous. Had a great time and will be my go to course.

Pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful, no issues with the pre-paid round. Driving range was above average, but very sandy soil under the turf. Course layout was interesting, but a course book/GPS layout is a must- there are numerous holes with no identifiable target lines for your tee shot and cover yardages to bunkers/penalty areas were unknown. Fairways/greens had severe undulations, so playing the course for the first time was a crapshoot on where to hit it. Greens were inconsistent (one very fast, next very slow) but in good shape and the bunkers, while often wet, had some of the best sand I've seen in a while. Overall, not a bad course, but it will take multiple plays to get comfortable with it.
