Little rock golf
Great value. Winter conditions so expect the course to get better when spring rolls around. Challenging course with many up-and-down holes
Good round for $15
I caught the special $15 rate at noon. Pace of play was very good, especially for a Saturday afternoon. Greens are a little hard but rolled pretty true. Greens were decently quick. I don't love the layout of the course, a couple of the holes are a little quirky. Overall, for $15, how can you complain about much!
Thrills at North Hills
Friendly staff and golfers at the Hills had a good time. I hadn't played this course in 3 years, forgot what I was missing. I'll be back soon!
Great Value
My friend and I played here through golf now for $30 total ($15 bucks a piece) with cart included. I was really pleased with the course. Well kept fairways and greens. If you miss the fairway you will likely be in another fairway looking for your ball so that can be tricky sometimes. The only real negative is navigating from one whole to the next isn't always very clear. They need a few more directional signs out there.
Great course
For 35 bucks it's more than worth the money, kept up nicely and a lot of holes had great structure to them. The elevation changes are exciting and challenging
visiting Little Rock from Texas
Hidden gem! Very solid course, good fairways, very nice greens, and great value.
Not Bad
For 21.00 on golfnow and end of June super hot, the course was not bad. Greens were fast with a few inconsistent. The balls rolled true. Fairways were hard, but weren't solid, ball rolled well off tee. I played alone at 2pm on a Wed and didn't have to go through but 2 groups. Fairly interesting course. Number 10 with range balls isn't as big of a deal as I thought if you just hit the middle. Back and forth holes make for a pain with people in other fairways. Again, for 21.00 not bad at all. Pretty hard to navigate the course with minimal signs and paths everywhere.
Great course with character.
Enjoyed it. Back nine very interesting.
I will return. Greens great condition for this time of year.
Course Great! Extreme Wind
Can't wait to go back! My day was extremely windy, even more than my home course in Louisiana. Can't wait to return in more appealing weather when the fairways are green. Nonetheless, it was fun with a local who knew all the curves and bumps!
Pleasantly Surprised
I was looking for a new course to play around Little Rock, and North Hills seemed like a good choice. I wasn't expecting much from this course - below average greens, patchy fairways, but a good time with buddies regardless. I was, however, surprised by how well maintained the entire course was given I paid less than $30 to play. The fairways were in good shape. Some were soft and some were firm, so you couldn't anticipate the roll. A guy in the clubhouse claimed that the greens were super soft, but I never saw it. Stuck a few greens, never left hardly any ball mark, much less get any spin. The greens were in excellent shape though and were very fast. Overall, it was a great round and I look forward to coming back and testing it again!
Easier than it looks
Very little sand. Water could come into play on two consecutive holes but you needed a poor shot to bring it into play. It is on your right both times so right-handers need to control their slice. The only negative part I saw was the driving range runs parallel to #10 fairway so there are a lot of yellow range balls everywhere. There are a lot of trees on the right so stay close to the fairway. As always sometimes accuracy is more important than distance.
harder than it looks
had a great time the course was very straight but hilly green were in very good shape
The course is pretty and maintain.
There were carts criss crossing the fairways from other fairways . We were extremely frustrated and left after the 6th hole. This course may be better during the week, but weekends will never happen for our foursome again!!!!! :(
Good value on hot deal.
Try and play twice a month or more. Friendly staff and bar and grill hv good food and service. Depending on how busy it is you can turn 18 in a little over 3 hrs wit a 2some.
