Worth the price.
Some rather odd holes but overall an interesting course and in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. Greens were very good and fairways were in good shape as well. Always enjoy it and a great value.
Hills on the Golf Course
There are no bunkers or water hazards on this golf course but still it’s a very challenging golf course due to changing elevations & trees. Fairways are not in excellent shape but greens are well-maintained & fast. Staff is very friendly.
Excellent Course
Just needs more grass in the fairways and around the trees.
Great course design and greens
Tight fairways, fast and interesting greens, blue and white tees fun, bar is great (beer and whiskey), fast play, and friendly staff.
Great day
For the amount of rain we've had and the temperature, the course was in really good shape. Greens in great condition for the weather. Tough reads, hard to gauge speed, but that's part of what makes the game fun. Staff was friendly and helpful as always. Food and bar are awesome!
fun course
this course is laid out well. nit overly challenging but fun. despite the recent rainy weather, the course was in great shape. love the club car golf carts.
Sherwood Golf
The City of Sherwood does a great job, keeping the course open, for a winter day in Dec. it was a pleasure to get out and enjoy The Greens, I would recommend to give it a try.
Challenging Course
Tree lined, sloping fairways and tough greens to putt. Overall, it is a fun course to play. Staff is great.
Nice municipal course
Good public course. Just the right amount of challenge for the average golfer. Plus, a very friendly staff.
Has its challenges
This course has its challenges, with hills, trees and fast greens it can make for a tough day. Keep the ball in the fairway and watch for slopes in the greens. The challenge is what makes this course though and would recommend you play it to see for yourself.
Course in good shape for conditions
Me and my friend were seriously thinking about not playing because it had been raining for a few hours.
But we went in and played and we couldn't believe how great the course played even after all the rain.
Fast greens
The greens role very true. This course is challenging. Precision is required. You get on the wrong side of the hole it will take work to get the ball in the hole.
Great experience!
Dawn is knowledgeable and awesome to talk with, and rest of staff is very professional. Course was well maintained and very challenging (especially the greens). You will work for some of your pars! Lastly, having a great bar and grill in house was a nice touch to finish the day (great selection of craft beers). I’ll be back!
getting better
Greens are improving as they have been recently aerated, course in pretty good shape. They allow 5somes which inhibits a decent pace of play, many of which won't let faster groups play thru
