Plum Creek Golf & Country Club

We played from the 2 Plum tee box just in front of the Tips. The course was a playable for our group from there. We played on a Golf Now Hot Deal so it was a great value. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. I'm not normally a shopper at courses due to the Pro shop pricing structures. However we had a lighting delay getting out so I looked around in the Pro Shop to kill time. I was a little surprised at all the empty shelves and the very limited selection of clothing, hats & other golf items. There was not even one men's rain jacket to be purchased if needed on a bad weather day. But like I said I'm not much of a Pro shop shopper so it really did not make that big of a difference to me

Much better courses out there for $75. Course was in poor condition, fairways and greens were ok but everything else was dead. Carts were were in need of repair, felt out of control as the steering was loose in all four carts in our groups. Cart paths were falling apart with pot holes everywhere and the driving range was just dirt and weeds. Looks like it was a beautiful course at one time but needs a ton of work to justify the prices charged for a round.

I thought this course had everything, everyone was really nice all greens well kept, the drink cart didn't keep me waiting. Great course if have never played.

The course is in great shape, the staff is very friendly, but wish they had a marshall that could speed up play. foursome in front of us had 1 to 2 holes open in front of them most of the time.

There was some confusion around our start time, told us we could go early, went to tee box, was already another 4some on box and we had to start 10 mins late. Wait times on tee was not bad on 2nd 9 (front nine), but 1st nine, which was back nine, had to wait on several holes, it appeared it was an issue on spacing the starts.

All in all, was a fun course and a beautiful day and the cart service was excellent!

Cart paths condition badly need some attention. Course is farily well maintained.

Course needs water and basic maint, the facilities have not been maintained as you would expect a past great course. .the hole signs and facilities on the course need a basic coat of paint.

Greens and fairways were very well kept, parking lot and cart paths were in rough shape in places. A few sections have houses very close to the fairway. Pace was slow.

Nice, well thought-out course by Pete Dye. Fairways are tighter than they look from the tee boxes, as they are elevated. Some pins looked hidden from the fairway, much visual deception. Greens are in good shape, and getting better from the recent aeration. Some par 3 tee boxes are a little beat up. Overall, I very good golfing experience.

Maybe at certain times of the year this course falls out of favor in terms of conditions, because I've read a lot of bad reviews about it. However, when I played there this past weekend, it was gorgeous! Hardly a brown spot anywhere on the course. Greens were in great shape and the fairways were perfectly manicured better than most courses' greens are! Beautiful layout! It was a challenging course that made me have to stop and think a couple of times, but it was a really fun course to play! Staff was really friendly as well.
When my friends and I first decided to play there last weekend, I was a little put off by the $75 green fee. I was going to be really upset if some of the other reviews held true about the conditions and I payed $75 to play a course that was in terrible shape. However, after playing it, I can see that it's maybe only a little overpriced. I will play here on occasion because $75 green fees are little more than I would like to spend, but it'll be a nice treat when I do have a little extra money! All in all a good experience!

there were so many bare spots and the dandelions are a true issue. From the tee box to the green. nice course needs help and some work. some tee boxes very difficult to get to

This course layout is one of the best you will find around. Greens are in great shape, and very challenging. You gotta go out and play this course at least once this year.

Understanding that this course has had some significant financial issues, they really need to price themselves more in line with the current quality of the course. The fairways and greens are in okay shape, but the rough is in serious need of repair. You are pretty much guaranteed to be in a hole if you miss the green as the grass is extremely clumpy. This really doesn't help on a Pete Dye design where you have many downhill chips.

The course has long, wide open fairways with challenging greens and par 3's.

grounds and common areas a bit rough around the clubhouse but once you're on the course that's forgotten... always a fun track.

Enjoy the challenge of this course, acceptably maintained and very friendly staff.

Plum Creek GC was in great shape for being early season, however the greens are just aerated as of 5/14/13. Pace of play was excellent; we didn't have to wait on any tee, although keep in mind it was a Tuesday.

The staff was cordial during the limited interaction I had with them. But this was good because all I had to do was check in, take a cart key and I was on my way. It was 2 minutes from car to tee.

The value was excellent. $27 per person for 18 and a cart. Can't beat it.

I should have know $45 for 18 holes and a cart on a Sat was to good to be true. Once a country club, now feels like a run down muni course. Not sure what happened here but this place is in serious need of some TLC. Almost needed 4WD to get to the clubhouse the driveway had so many pot holes, greens were still sandy and bumpy from being aerated weeks ago, dead patches of grass ALL over the course, no sand in the bunkers, no ball washers, minimal yardage markers, no operating kitchen and no beer on tap. Staff was friendly including Bev cart gal, but only saw her once over 18 holes. Views are still great and any golf is good golf but it was sad to see the condition of this place. Some simple maintenance would be such a huge improvement to a beautifully designed Pete Dye course.
