Hidden Gem!
The greens are in fantastic shape and fast. Course is feeling in nicely for the season.
Worth the drive
Beginners course but very well kept was pleasantly surprised for how cheap you can lock it in. No sand traps which is weird to me, minimal water, so losing a ball is tough. Very much a beginner course. But had a good time will come back.
Worth the drive.
We play here once or twice a year. It is over an hour drive. It is in good shape with a friendly staff. Pace of play has been under 4 hours every time so far.
New Carts
My wife and I played Quail Dunes for the first time in 2025. Was very pleasantly surprised to find they had purchased new carts, with GPS. Very nice upgrade! Course was in great shape with grasses in all areas lush and green. As always, staff is friendly and helpful. Always a pleasant time at this course.
Greens
Greens were just sanded, a few days of mowing and they will be great. They started rolling the greens this year, and speed has increased a lot. Makes for some challenging putts!
To early in the golf season to be critical of this course
Grass is just beginning to green up from our long winter season. This course was actually in better condition than I expected it to be. The weather turned cold & very windy this afternoon. That alone made playing today not much fun today.
Great vibes cool place
Staff is friendly course was really beautiful and the vibes were immaculate.

We were itching to go play golf. Courses in the Denver metro area were covered with snow and closed. It occurred to us that the northeast of Denver area got less snow. Lo and behold, Quail Dunes was open and there were tee times available. We booked and we were happy! We started on the back 9, no problem. The 1st group of the day turned just before us in 1:10! There were snow fences in places and temporary greens to protect the greens' grass. No problem. A hidden from view penalty area on #18 was the other surprise...forgot! The hills on the course give you some exercise walking, but that's part of the day! The greens were variable in speed, but it is February. The folks at the course were great with smiles and pleasant demeanors. What a treat to play when the snow is covering the courses near home!
