Highland Hills Golf Course

I’d recommend this course to anyone that wants a casual round of 18!!!

Tee time was 12:10 and we went off on time. I played along with two other golfers, pace of play for us was good. We had a foursome in front of us so we waited a bit on some hole. Even though we waited on some hole we finished the round in about four hours. The grass is starting to turn green and the weather was on our side.

The course was mostly dry, but we did have snow in the fairways and on the greens. That didn’t stop me from going out and having a good time. Any day you can get out and play in the winter is a good day. I am glad that we have a least one course that will play all 18 holes even if they are not in the ideal conditions.

Tried to play during the fall. I know that conditions can be difficult but we went out in 30 mph cross winds and debris flying. We tried to play but after three holes it was obvious that conditions were not going to improve and with all the leaves and twigs in the greens the course was not playable so we headed back to the clubhouse. We were told that is the way fall golf is and they didn’t offer rain check. After I explained that the greens were unplayable he renigged and gave us a rain check reluctantly for 9 holes even though we paid for 18. He didn’t even hand us the rain check but threw them on the counter for us to retrieve. I’ was very insulted .

The day was a little on the cold side. We didn’t let that stop us from going out and having a great time. The course was in great shape. The only issue was the fall leaves that hide your ball if yo are off line.

Enjoyed our time. The hole are close enough together there were times I wish I had a hard hat as I was showered with errant shots from others, but overall a good time.

Had a great time! The course was in good shape and the staff was very friendly. Greens are difficult and you need to hit your tee shot straight to avoid the tons of trees lining the course. This course is a bit far from my house but I have no problem adding into the rotation for available courses to look at when booking.

The leaves have started to fall making it already difficult to find every ball that is outside of the fairway. I’ll probably play this course for the next two weeks but not after that.

Found out at check in that the greens were just punched. Wasn't too worried about it, staff started to charge me even though I had paid for the hot time. I offered to pay a cart fee or something for my spectator and they basically would t take my money. Said she could squeeze on the cart. Played front nine behind a 6some. When making the turn got in trouble for riding three to a cart. Two holes later got accused of playing a fivesome. Then got told we had to return the carts a 7:30. We got 15 holes in. Probably a nice course once you learn where to hit it, and if the greens are good.

This is a traditional old fashioned golf course. Tree lined fairways, slight turns, to smaller greens that are in excellent condition. Fairways are thick and green. Would recommend if you are in the area looking to play. FYI, they do not book 18 hole tee times with a cart after 3.
