Meadows Golf Club
About
Located in the Southwest Metro area, the golf course at the Meadows Golf Club has a links-style layout that provides a challenging and fun game for all golfers. The trio of Bradford Benz, J. Michael Poellot, and Richard Phelps designed this municipal, 18-hole course. It is just over 7,000 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated against the foothills of the Rockies, providing nice views along the course. The risk-and-reward layout of the course features water hazards and bunkers. Meadows Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3, 8th hole, which require a shot over water to a well-bunkered and extremely sloped green.

Course was closed - please refund my fee
The proshop called me on 1/7/20 after my golf reservation appeared on there system and noted the course would be closed on 1/8/20. They said they contacted GolfNow and noted they were still closed due to snow/ice on the course.
Nice Course / Power tripping Ranger
This was my first time playing this course and for the most part the course was in good condition. The pace of play was about average, most holes you could walk up and hit. Things were going fine. I walked up to my chip shot to the 7th green and as I getting ready to hit the Ranger decided to enlighten our day. Telling me that I need to "recognize players around me", and that my group is "holding up the show". Now is I said, for the most part it was a walk up and hit kind of day, until the 7th tee, were we had to wait about 5 mins. Now I'm getting yelled at on the 7th green? As I informed him of this, I was told that I could leave, so we did. Unfortunately for this course, it has a staff that is well below par.
Course was not open for play. Fortunately, the tee time was not prepaid. Only the Golf Now service charge. I should have called the course.
Awesome
Love this course. It was challenging. Can’t wait to get back there and play it again.
Bargain!
GN fee of $41 was a steel for this course. Great layout with a lot of trouble throughout the course. I’ve played courses that cost twice as much and not near as good. Course was in great shape also. Definitely play again.
Good day, interesting course, good deal
We were looking for something to play on short notice and found this deal (perhaps due to the Broncos game) to match our desires. The staff was welcoming & accommodating. The course was in good shape, the greens were fast & true, the pace was comfortable, and the weather was pleasant. The course is engaging and fun. Geese weren't an issue, nice. This was a treat.
Great layout!
Best course in the Denver area for the money. One of the best course layouts in the area.Good condition for the amount of play. I’ve payed 2 and 3 times the fees on courses not near as good as this one. You won’t be disappointed.
Fun course
Great pace. Greens on front firm and fast, back was significantly slower but rolling true. If the wind comes up, play at least 2 more clubs. Great food and drink prices in the clubhouse!
Same holes always under repair
Myself and my friends have played this course a few times in the past. Every time holes #10 around the green, #11 the center of the fairway landing area, #16 the entire fairway are under repair with numerous other areas on the course having repairs done. We know repairs are needed but in many of the places they have repeat problems it seem that a repair of the problem source is better that just patch work repairs that never end. They have watering issues we guessed as in many places the first cut of rough was hard dry ground with yellow to brown sod. No taking of a divot as our clubs just skipped of the ground. Pretty Frustrating!
We were also disappointed in the Marshall's ability to keep the pace of place moving. We complained twice mostly due to a 4 some that was 2 groups in front of us that would stand and talk on a tee box until the group in front of them were off the green. We stood several times on the front 9 for 20 minutes while they played the hole then the group between them and us played the hole. Frankly if a Marshall can't solve that problem he is not doing his job. Most golfers hit when the group in front is out of reach it is common courtesy. We know the course can't fix everything but this is something that can be fixed.
Good Public Course
Back 9 is in rough shape on a few holes, but otherwise a good round. Enjoyable
Overall great course had fun staff was friendly and conditions were good the only complaint is the divots on the greens. People need to fix their ballmarks
Tough but great conditions.
Yea like I said pretty tough course. I didn’t play very well but if u miss the rough at all day goodbye to your ball. Great conditions on the greens and fairways. Except for one hole. The 14 or 15th was it terrible Condition. I wanna go back because I’m Sure if I hit more fairways I would have had more fun.
Worth a try
I really liked the course layout, and loved the greens. Fairly tough but fast and consistent. Great grass in both fairways and rough. Definitely not a an easy course to score on your first time (especially for a big hitter) as there is unexpected trouble everywhere for people who consistently drive over 300 yards. Would be really nice to play once you know all the nicks and crannies. But that won’t be happening as $64 is way too steep for this course. That is just one reason you don’t get that homey keep coming back feeling.... The staff has been rude both times I have played here. Like as if they were mad that we were golfing and they were working. It was weird. Showed up 7 minutes EARLY for tee time and they made us wait 45 minutes for a new one. Course was hardly packed at all too
Character
Loved playing this course. People very friendly & welcoming. Marshal was out & present keeping the pace despite the number of players. A little bit of construction on a couple of holes, but overall in great condition. Has a lot of character & a few diabolical holes. Must play at least a second time after getting the layout.
