Meadows Golf Club
About
Located in the Southwest Metro area, the golf course at the Meadows Golf Club has a links-style layout that provides a challenging and fun game for all golfers. The trio of Bradford Benz, J. Michael Poellot, and Richard Phelps designed this municipal, 18-hole course. It is just over 7,000 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated against the foothills of the Rockies, providing nice views along the course. The risk-and-reward layout of the course features water hazards and bunkers. Meadows Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3, 8th hole, which require a shot over water to a well-bunkered and extremely sloped green.

Awesome, Unique Course
This course has a challenging and peculiar layout that made it very entertaining. From the back tees the course has a great mix of long and short holes, and the par 5's are all reachable with two good shots. Greens roll very well and there was only one hole with a damaged fairway, besides that it was in wonderful shape. There is long fescue about 15 yards off of most every fairway and quite a few water hazards, so it is a difficult course unless you keep it in the fairway the whole time. Overall an awesome track that I will definitely play again if it comes back up here on GolfNow.
Slow and painful
Clocked in at over 5 hours, there was no sign of staff to move things along. The tight slow play resulted in one of our golfers being hit and injured from the restless group behind us. Clubhouse staff weren’t exactly rude, but they sure aren’t friendly. Some of the fairways are in terrible shape. On the positive side the greens are in great shape. The slow and tight round means I will never return to this course.
A real welcome back
It has been a while since I last played the Meadows and fortunately it was much as I remembered it. With a couple severe fairway exceptions, it was in good condition. Will try to come back more frequently!
Good course, good value
I am a 2 handicap player and played from the blue tees. Some holes played really short, but overall it presented challenges to me. The greens were running nicely. I was hitting my tee shots extremely well and the course still presented challenges. Moving all the way back pushes 7,000 yards so if you need more challenge, that would do it.
Great course, slow play
I’ve played this course twice now and it looks and plays tough but fun. However both times I’ve played I’ve stood on many tee boxes for more than 10 minutes waiting to hit. I’ve also played on Tuesday and Wednesday around noon. For a weekday, mid day tee time it’s frustrating having slow play. Other than that the course is great. Big driving range and practice greens as well.
Only played 9
We played 9 holes and then it started lighting and pouring down rain. The golf course said to talk to you for rain check. They were not super friendly and tried to charge me for cart fees, luckily I said my reservation. Thank you
Great, but...
The greens are in real nice shape right now, native is thick (ask me how I know!) and fairways are growing in.
The only real bad part was 16 fairway which was "lost". It is a little bit of grass with a sand base. Too bad...
Engaging course, very good weather, good conditions, friendly folks
This was my 3rd time on the course. The weather was very good. The check-in was seamless. The greens were aerated 2 weeks ago, and the grass was greening up nicely. We were lucky to have a local, Mike, who helped provide tips based upon his experience. #2's fairway is pretty short from the black (combo) tees, that penalty area is definitely reachable with a driver! #6 is a fun hole with some either shotmaking or course management decisions if you are average-ish in distance. #12's water on a fade off the tee isn't too far! #16 fairway was being renovated with French drains, which made it lift, clean, and place. A few greens were still healing, like #11. We had a good time. This is a more engaging sister course to Foothills. Enjoy!
Great experience.
Big Bang for your buck. A great layout that makes you hit every club in your bag.
Good early season round
Always a great challenging course. Some rough spots due to snow and ice and greens were a little slow.
