About
Twin Peaks Golf Course has a traditional layout that appeals to players of all skill levels. It's a public course that is situated less than an hour from downtown Denver. The player-friendly layout has a mix of straightforward holes and doglegs. The course is wide open, offering uninterrupted views of Long's Peak. Though the fairways are flat and generous, be prepared for the elevated greens. If you miss them you'll be faced with difficult uphill and downhill chip shots from the surrounding mounding. The golf course also requires a bit of accuracy due to a few strategically placed trees. There are a few tricky holes but overall it's a layout that beginners can feel confident approaching. In addition to the course, Twin Peaks G.C. has a practice facility complete with a driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Decent course, good value, but unprofessional staff
I am a regular at this course and more often than not have a good experience. However, last night was a unpleasant experience. I booked 18 holes and a cart for a 5:50p tee time. Of course, my group only finished 9 holes. Naturally I spoke with the associate at the front desk and requested a rain check or voucher so I could come back at a later date to play the back nine. Allegedly, if you book during twilight hours, you simply try to play as many holes as you can (lie #1). The former is not stated anywhere on GN and in my many years of experience, never heard of this policy. So I then ask "why is 18 holes even an option". No good response or reasoning was given. Last, the associate lied about their 18 hole rates, as I play here 40 or 50 times per season. This associate is either highly unethical or isn't familiar with golf policies that have been in place for hundreds of years. Not giving a rain check for suspicious reasons to someone that has spent thousands at this course is simply a terrible business decision.

Sunday Golf
Had a rough time with the front 9 but the back 9 were a whole nother story. It was a good time. Will go back soon.

good day on the course
We started out behind a 4 some of beginners, but 3 hole in they let us play through which helped the pace of play a lot, since it took us almost 55 minutes for the first 3 holes. Overall good weather, was a little windy late but still a good day on the course!

Fast greens
I think today was the fastest I have ever seen their greens. Pace was slow because of 1 fore some in front of us. We passed them on the turn but then a group of 3 jumped in front of us at 11. They were hitting 2 balls each off tee box. They were also very slow. They picked it up after we said something to them. Happy to play

Sand traps
The prices keep going up. But the traps are like concrete. Please rake the traps daily

Admin error
Everytime I play here there is a slip up w the check-in process.
I was checking in @ 1:05 for a 1:10 tee time and was told they have already teed off. So i proceeded to play asap. The 1:10s were on the green when I teed off and were in carts-- I would have had to skip a hole to catch them. I therefore played 7 holes as a single stacked in between two tee times, and rushing to stay in sync.
You'd think arriving before your tee time was enough to warrant leaving in your designated group, but not here.

Fun challenging fair
This course is deceptive. It appears to be easy. The good news is all levels of skill can play here with few lost golf balls. Once near the greens, the average golfer who isn’t able to reach in regulation will face a challenge to get up and down carding a par. Twin Peaks is a durable, good quality municipal track. The greens can be quite challenging with many subtle breaks, especially when putting downhill/sidehill. The staff cannot be bested anywhere; very proficient and friendly. The only negative here is conditions around tee boxes and some adjacent green areas due to the obvious lack of cart paths. Otherwise if you want a fairly challenging round that provides plenty of fun with very nice clubhouse environment to share your post-round experiences, this is a welcoming place to hang.

Good Course
It's an old Course in Longmont, not to hard and not to easy. Usually a good pace of play most times and the value is usually really good.
A testing course at a wonderful price
This is my favorite course in Northern Colorado. Very tight with ample water hazards and sand traps. The starters and marshals are very professional and helpful. I did not use the restaurant due to Covid 19.
Lovely course to walk, honestly one of my favorites! Only downfall is price increase during winter! And carts don't always work the best, hard to believe they can raise green fees on a dead course in winter. Do love this place though
