Good value but no seems bug constantly buzzing around your head.
Good cheap 9 hole course
Greens need to be rolled and a lot faster besides that course is in good shape tee to green . Can’t beat less than 20 for 9 holes
Woodhaven slow pace
Course is in great shape. But they miss josis . She was a great Starter an Ranger. Last two times I played Woodhaven the pace of play was terrible..Both times a foresome backed up the whole course. Course needs Ranger to keep golfers moving.
They need Josie for sure. Last two times there it was ridiculous.
Excellent
The overall experience is usually excellent and it was this day as well. I only wish that they would speed up the greens! They are too slow. I realize that maintaining the greens to be slow may be to increase the pace of play, but I don’t think it’s worth the sacrifice to the more experienced players. I think there is some room to improve the greens.
Awesome
If every golf was managed in this manner , what a golf world it would be.
A Hidden Gem
Nice layout. In great shape. No GPS on carts, but any cell phone can solve that and it keeps the cost down. The value of this coarse is second to none. The only issue I had was the gnats. August must be the buggy season here. I will be back in the early fall when the bugs are gone!
Bugs will be an issue there no matter what season.
Golf Guys
Course was in great shape. I was shooting a great round and got to the 7th hole and a thunderstorm came from no where so unfortunately had to stop playing my round with my 3 friends .
Love this place. Give it a try.
Solid 9 course. Certainly Walkable. Fun. Does make you keep your Driver in your bag at times. Especially if its not your club that day. Greens are tough for a solid course like this. The break/speed/hang height comes in drastically. every day is a new day. the way it should be. Manicured and course becomes better everyday.

I booked the course going in blind since I had some free time and wanted to scratch my itch. I had an early tee time @ 6:00a and was greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff upon arrival.
The golf Course was wide open for play upon arrival and conditions were both plush and well manicured. If you are confident in doing so, I would recommend playing the blue tee boxes as it gives you a more challenging perspective, better views, and a 128 slope rating.
My only gripe (and I am loathe to bring it up) was that the course was not particularly well marked for distances. This was only an inconvenience since I hadn’t brought my rangefinder or GPS along and, as such, it required me to do some old fashioned “pacing off” of distances from the closest marked rain birds (sprinkler heads).
Otherwise, it was a thoroughly enjoyable nine holes and my only regret was that I didn’t have the time to play the full 18.
I would highly recommend this course if in the area as you won’t regret having booked your round.
complete honesty...........
here it is: evidently the ownership has changed. The people working there seemed organized and friendly.
The course is green and definitely has some good holes, but there is a glaring problem....the greens are ridiculously slow and the cups were all placed on swales so that there wasn't even a semi-flat putt to be attempted.
Don't get me wrong, everyone should try the course and judge for themselves, but the greens "as is" make for an unenjoyable round.
