3rd, par-4, 374 (blues): The fairway plays a bit uphill to this well guarded green. Water, hidden from view here, is to the left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

4th, par-4, 435: Outstanding Al Zikorus-designed hole, featuring a rolling fairway and a green set upon a knoll. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

6th, par-5, 570. A long 5-par. It will be a three-shotter for almost everyone. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

7th: par-4, 370. Woodhaven is a strong test of driving. Here, the downhill tee shot is tight, the approach more routine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

8th: par-3, 180. A tough tee shot faces you on this mid-range 3-par. Long is generally not good; left is worse. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

9th, par-4, 400. The finisher favors a tee shot aimed down the left-hand side of this fairway, which tilts a bit left-to-right. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

Hidden gem & great value!
Woodhaven is a very unassuming place, hidden in the backwoods of Bethany - with probably some of the best kept, toughest greens in CT. No issues with booking a Sunday tee-time, not crowded and no issues walking. Plenty of variety in the holes and layout, and IMO better kept greens than some high-end courses. I walked with my son, and we finished in just over 2 hours - lots of up and down, good workout.
A hidden gem indeed
What an awesome experience! This is an exquisitely maintained 9 hole course which you will definitely go back to..
Pace of play
While I understand it’s busy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon you should still have a marshal out there monitoring pace of play. There were several gaps and play was extremely slow.
I have been playing this course for at least 10 years the previous owner had someone there making sure people kept up with the group in front of them.

Wonderful experience
Friendly folks, great conditions and perfect weather made for a wonderful experience at Woodhaven.
Challenging 9-hole Course with Excellent Greens
This was a last-minute booking to squeeze in 9 holes on a Sunday afternoon - good deal for the course, $25 with a cart yet I decided to walk and get some exercise. Nice layout, plenty of variety for average golfers like me. Greens were spotless, better than some higher-end courses in the area.
Most Improved Course in area
Always fun and course improves every time I play. Great trends over last three years despite Covid. Well done
Challenging 9 holes of golf
Great 9 hole course. tee to green course was in good/great shape. Greens are especially challenging.. Would recommend this course to anyone for a good 9 holes or more of golf. We plan on returning all summer when we get a chance.
Nice course, nice staff
Really enjoyed myself. I can see that the well cared for greens are only going to get better as summer approaches.
Club house run down
Course was great, challenging greens, nice carts. But amenities poor ladies room needs to be renovated. Club house needs a facelift inside and out. But I'm going to play there again as I liked the course.
WoodHeaven
Challenging course with elevation changes, several tight fairways with sloping greens in the spirit of Donald Ross.
Greens, tees and fairways in excellent condition without any disease damage over the past two seasons.
Pace of play is good and staff very professional and friendly.
Picturesque forest, lakes and wildlife.
My piece of heaven.
