Great course, great price
Staff was really awesome. Conditions were great for the price. Loved the layout. All the holes are different and cchallenging
One of my favorites
I have all good things to say about Woodhaven. The staff is incredible, the food is good, the course is beautiful (especially on a sunny morning after you tee off from 4 and get a look at the pond). Greens are tough, fairways are clean, and the people I've played with are great. Definitely recommend!
*UNDER CURRENT SITUATION, I NEEDED THIS!!
First, let me just say this course although 9 holes is excellent to play over and over.
Second, Josie the WONDERFUL LADY starter made sure I felt welcome even though the world is going nuts. She cared so much that all of us enjoyed our round. What an ASSET TO THAT GOLF CLUB. Course is challenging, definitely use GPS VIEW ON YOUR SMARTPHONE, because you need to land on spots certain holes. I would love to play this in the summer when I know this place plays up to its potential.
Diamond in the Ruff
This is an excellent 9 hole course that is challenging and forces you to keep coming back for more. The course is always in great shape and has some water that come into play with a misplaced shot. I miss playing this course since moving to NC but will make it a must when we come back to visit
Challenging Course
Woodhaven is very beautiful and quite spectacular during Fall with all the trees in color.
The course is always well maintained with not a blade out of place.
Every hole has its own challenges, some more difficult than others, but every green test your skills to the utmost.
Once I master this course I can shoot par or under everywhere else.
My favorite golf course.
Great 9 Hole Course
My friends and I have been playing here for years. It's a good course-well maintained, challenging greens, and scenic. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Woodhaven is a fun place to play a round of golf.

Love this place
Woodhaven is a small course that you'd drive right past of you didn't know where to look. It's a great layout, challenging holes, and a great staff. Jocie and Paul are great!
Pleasant surprise
It maybe a 9 hole course. Don’t let that change your mind about playing here. If you want a test putting, this is the course. Course was in great shape. Greens a bit slow but you will be happy they are. I’ll be back.
Great Course
This is a fun and challenging course and a great deal for the money. Greens and fairways in great shape.
Good Deal, fun greens
Lots of woods keeps this course looking very nice. The only open areas are around water, which is worked into the design pretty well.
The greens were large and steeper than average, which I found challenging but also more fun.
3 hr for 8 holes
If your not in a rush play here, its cheap and challenging, if you want to get in nine holes quick, find another spot
Low key
This course was the most no-frills place I have ever played. I was vacationing about an hour away without my clubs and the price was right. The clubs for rent were generic and dirty. The staff is very friendly, but they did not do a good job of regulating the pace of play. We had a foursome of nice kids ahead of us who apparently never played golf before. They were sharing clubs and spent a lot of time searching in the woods and then meandering on the greens deciding what to do next. Players were backed up for 10-15 minutes a hole with everyone yelling back and forth about why no one was driving. The greens were well cared for to the point that a groundskeeper hosed them while you tried to putt. No ranger ever appeared, except to chat people up at the start or afterwards in the parking lot. It took two and a half hours for nine holes for two of us. It’s a very nice course if only someone would take charge.

Lovely course to experience
Nicely located within 30 minutes of New Haven. The course is challenging and well maintained. The greens may be unusually slow playing against the slope. I think the hole layout map at tee off, especially ones having the water hazards and a ditch crossing the fairway, needs better depiction. Otherwise a lovely environment to play. Staff is friendly. I would come back.
