3rd, par-4, 374 (blues): The fairway plays a bit uphill to this well guarded green. Water, hidden from view here, is to the left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

4th, par-4, 435: Outstanding Al Zikorus-designed hole, featuring a rolling fairway and a green set upon a knoll. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

6th, par-5, 570. A long 5-par. It will be a three-shotter for almost everyone. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

7th: par-4, 370. Woodhaven is a strong test of driving. Here, the downhill tee shot is tight, the approach more routine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022
-
8th: par-3, 180. A tough tee shot faces you on this mid-range 3-par. Long is generally not good; left is worse. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

9th, par-4, 400. The finisher favors a tee shot aimed down the left-hand side of this fairway, which tilts a bit left-to-right. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

Woodhaven a hidden gem.
Woodhaven CC was in excellent condition today. Staff at Woodhaven is friendly an professional. Greens are challenging but in great shape. Josey the Starter an Ranger does a good job of keeping a great pace of play. Highly recommend this 9 hole course tucked in the woods.
Fantastic 9 hole course!
My wife and I played with another couple and had a great time! Course was in great shape. It's a great 9 hole course- easy to walk or ride.
Best 9 hole course in Ct
Everything considered this is the best 9 hole public course in Ct. The greens are always in great shape and can be very tricky. The course is well maintained and each hole is unique.
Highly recommended. Challenging all way through especially the greens.
A hidden gem
You might pass by this course on the road and think it is just another driveway. It's a nice, compact layout, well maintained, with VERY TRICKY GREENS! Staff is most friendly and cooperative as any you could imagine. Good value for the money; well worth the trip. Rustic, and beautiful.
Great course, great game
Overall great place to play and enjoy the game. However my game was disturbed every time by the gnats flying all over my face constantly. Happy to come back and play again
Nice layout
Nice layout, narrow fairways, good greens, could do with some landscaping but that's the kind of course it is -- old and worn but with character.
Nice 9 hole course
Enjoyed the course. Decent variety of layout. Fair challenges. Greens in good condition. Need accurate drives on most holes. This day unfortunately had a lot nats on the greens only. Might of been a hatch or humidity
Hidden Gem
When you have time for a drive to the country, but not enough time for 18 holes, this si the course you should play. And any other time too!
This course has a challenging layout with tight fairways and sloping greens, and water. Fairways and greens are well maintained, pace of play is usually good. Great course.
If you like glitzy restaurants and beverage carts, and high-end pro shops, Woodhaven might not rate high on your assessment. If you want to play a fun, challenging, well maintained course, play Woodhaven!
great place
I enjoy playing Woodhaven. It is always in good shape. Most of the greens are very challenging. I can't really find a thing I would change except for the sand traps. Sometimes they are not raked well and if it has rained a good deal they can be hard and packed. The staff is always friendly. Always a good experience.
Going down hill fast
I play this course a lot it was a good bang for your buck but the last 2x I went the staff was awful! And not for nothing I come from Monroe Easton area I booked a one person tee time and they wanted to pair me with a few older guys the course wasn't busy at all maybe 9-11 cars and just a 2 some on the first tee box I refused to golf with them and offered to wait but the staff said they were so busy I couldn't play alone I sat in my car for 25 mins to see how many people showed up after the 2 some teeed off not one person the lady who was running it that day should stick to her regular Job of flipping hotdogs!!!!!!! So now I refuse to golf there! I booked a tee time @ Orange Hills in my car for 1 golfer I pulled up there and the parking lot was packed both lots were full but some how they got me out all by myself I'll be golfing there from now on sorry Wood Haven I know your struggling and could use all the business Paul you should deff keep the hotdog lady cooking the hotdogs not steering away business!!!!!!!!
