Great course
Great course. Played Red. 7 out of 9 holes are driver with open fields. Trees on the sides. Great friendly staff and guests. Had a frost delay and everyone was friendly and patient. Overall, great time. Will book again on black.
Great Afternoon Round
Awesome weather. Got paired up with an absolutely awesome dude. So much of the course was in great shape. Good amount of tee boxes could use work. But my goodness some of those holes in the back 9. The fairways and greens are just pristine.
Fall golf
Staff was very friendly and helpful, course is in great shape any challenging for any armature golfer. Fun day at The Wheel!
Enjoyed Playing
Loved the course. Enjoyed the day. The real issue is that the fairways were uncut such that there was very little runout. Also greens and tees needed cutting.

All the staff members were very helpful and friendly, fairways and greens were in great shape
Fun time
Always great to get out with the boys! Some challenging holes and greens were kept up. Only criticism would be that the tee boxes were not kept up so the par 3s felt like i was hitting off of pure dirt.
Needs improvement
My 3some played the 18 in 3 hrs. and 15 minutes which for a public course is a small miracle. Athe tee boxes were dirt with little or no grass.
While adding the GPS to the carts was a step in the right direction, they do not show the yardage to the hole from the rough or fairway..
It is too bad, the course has real potential.
Nice day on the course
Played the Red course and was hesitant after reading some of the bad reviews it had gotten.and was just visiting the area..Thank goodness I still went and played as I found the course to be in pretty good shape and really enjoyed it. From the time I checked in the staff was great and was able to even get out a bit early as I was a single.I just don't know after playing yesterday how people could make a big deal out of maybe spotty tee boxes??? Greens rolled true and fairways were fine. Guess it wasn't perfect enough for some but I had a great time and played with nice folks that made the day even nicer.
