I wish the city would put money back into the course.
Most of the tee boxes were dirt.
Red Course is very enjoyable!
Had a great time playing the red course! The staff here, from the golf shop associates to the rangers and everyone in between, are so friendly and make the course even more enjoyable!
A Local Favorite for a Quick Round
There are two courses at Fairchild. The Black course is a more difficult than the Red course. The average golfer will find both courses enjoyable, but red is a little more open to sprayed drivers and long irons. The conditions are not always favorable but they try hard to maintain them. A mor skilled golfer will prefer the Black course.
Fairchild Wheel red course
Very friendly and courteous staff, pace of play was excellent, and course was in great shss as pe considering the recent weather conditions.
Pretty good for the price
The course is always a little rough. But it's the end of summer and they did a good job of keeping it in good condition. Thanks!
Red course stinks
Really like the black course, but played the red course yesterday. the tee boxes were basically hitting off of rock solid dirt, just torn to shreds and no care put into them. No bar cart going around for drinks or snacks, and no way to order from the new carts. The gps on the carts doesnt show yardage, its basically just a map of the hole. Not a bad time but overall think the course is putting the money into the wrong things (like new golf carts) instead of what actually matters (the teeboxes and having food and drink options on the course). Fairways and greens were great though.
Nice course
We played the front nine of the Red Course at 5pm. It was a lovely walk and very enjoyable.
