The long second hole, a par-4 which doglegs left to reach this raised green, measures 439 yards from the blue tees. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

No. 4 at Tunxis White is a tight par-3, its green guarded by water and by Town Farm Road. Par is a very good score here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

It’s gorgeous scenery, but a watery grave will be the fate of golf balls falling well short of green eight. Ditto for misses long or left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

The peninsular green at ten overlooks the lake that borders parts of holes seven through twelve. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

My path to green twelve was crossed today by two families of Canada geese. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

A pond bisects the seventeenth fairway, and may tempt big hitters to fly it off the tee–if their desire is a wedged approach. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/05/2022

Among the premier holes at Tunxis White are those with greens set on mini-peninsulas. The par-4 seventh is the first you’ll encounter. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/21/2021

Eight. Par-3, 164. The second peninsular green may give some golfers jitters on the tee. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/21/2021

Ten. Par-4, 347. My favorite hole. A ‘simple’ drive-and-pitch hole to this green, water-guarded everywhere but in front. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/21/2021
-
Twelve. Par-4, 376. A masterful hole--maybe the course’s best--ending on a cleverly contoured green (upon another peninsula). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/21/2021
-
Four. Par-3, 176. Overdraw your tee shot and your golf ball will be deep-sixed. That’s frost you see in the shadows. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/21/2021

Great track - can be slow play
Course in great shape with nice challenging holes. Some tricky greens but overall in good shape. My only complaint was there was afoursome ahead of us that insisted on playing the blue tees and had no business doing it. Ranger said he would say something to them, with three open holes in front of them. We ended jumping a hole ahead of them and then had no delay. Staff extremely helpful, I played through golf now site, you get greens fee, cart, and a small bucket of balls with your greens fees. Will, come back again, but try to avoid holiday weekends.
Great Day!
Tunxis is a great course. Plenty of options between white and green courses for 18 holes and the red course for 9. Pace of play was great for a Sunday, less than 4 hours for the round.
Beautiful course , beautiful day
Every facet of this course was well maintained .
The white
Played in 4 hours. Greens a little slow. Fairways well maintained. Will definitely play this course again.
Nice Course just off 84
Friendly staff in the office... checked in went to starter, paired up with another single and off we went. Course was mostly wide open and was in great condition for Dec 16... Neat design with 4 greens going out into the water. If I was walking could of got confused on which way to go after the second par 5. Had fun was a great deal on Golf Now!
Spring-Like weather in Mid-December
Who could ask for better weather in the middle of December !?!? I've played the white course twice in less than a week and would play there everyday if I could - the course is in excellent shape ! Who could complain ? Golfing on December 15th ? Lovin it !!!
Wonderful day in December
Have not played here in over 20 years, for my own reasons. Played the white 18. Greens rolled nicely...little hairy on some but its December!. Overall pleased. Lots of signage, but still a few miscues on back 9. The only thing I did not like was the carts and lugging my bag back and forth. No carts in lot.
Played with couple gents from Wolcott, CT area
Happy Holidays
ch better
FYI: Lack of any bunker raking was pathetic...The caliber of player here should have been much better
Always in great shape
Another great afternoon at TPCC.
Course is in great shape...typical park land layout with plenty of long and generous fairways, challenging par 3's...you really have to work to get into trouble here and a lot more water than most places but all avoidable with shot making. Well worth the golf now price.
Always pleased playing this course
Fair playable course with a little of everything. Pleasant staff every time I play.
Course in great shape
After a hot, dry summer in CT it was a pleasant surprise to see what great shape the course was in. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were true and rolled well. First time playing the White Course. Course is challenging, fair, and fun to play. There were a few times that it was confusing where the next hole was so a little extra signage would have been helpful. Recommend this course to anyone who appreciates good course conditions.
Always a Great Time
Customer service exceeds any course I've played. Course was in great shape. Always a pleasant experience!
Good Recovery
I was supposed to go out on the white course, but the three others brought a fourth. I was disappointed but they sent me out on the green course about 10 minutes later than my original tee time. It wasn't perfect but I appreciate their ability to accommodate me.
Quality Course
I haven't played Tunxis in a few years. But since moving back from Scottsdale, AZ I've played Red and White. The White course was in very good condition, slow greens but probably from the rain the day before. I will definitely be playing this course again.
Quality course, quality value
Tunxis was a very good choice, and a GREAT hot deals value. The Green Course was in strong shape, and the greens rolled true throughout. I'll definitely be back!
White Course
Course in great shape, Pro-Staff had our online booking quick and easy
Always a pleasure
This is a great course. Always in great condition and the staff is always friendly and acomodating. The starter is always helpful and pleasant to talk to.
Very Bland
The course was in great condition and very well kept. It was wide open and fairly easy with some challenges.
fair and challenging
over the years I have played Tunxis [white] many times. The course is fun to play with it's moderate challenges. Always in good shape. I think Tunxis Plantaion as a whole is the best public facility in the state of Ct.
love it
great place don't miss out on a chance to play here, you will not regret it!!!!! green or white courses red course is a nine hole course.
