At this excellent par-4, the third fairway curves around a large pond, a threat to both drive and approach shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2022

Seven, a long par-3, is easily one of the course’s hardest holes–partly because it is so well protected by greenside bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2022

One. 354-yard par four. The 13-index opens things up somewhat gently, yet the green is well-bunkered. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Three, par-4, 423. The hole plays downhill but to a tight landing zone guarded by the pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

The 492-yard, par-5 fifth is tempting for big hitters. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Seven, par-3, 249. It’s easy to see why this is the toughest three-par on the golf course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Eighth. This long 5-par (579) is open enough for swinging away from the tee. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Sixteen will require your best drive to this tight, dog-legging fairway. The second shot is no picnic, either. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Had a great time
Happy to play this course for the money, I enjoyed it
Where is the sand
Course was in decent shape. There was basically no sand in the traps and you could get whiplash if you stayed on the cart paths Greens were good as were the fairways. Most ball washers were either broken or had no water in them.
Mike7361019,
Thank you for playing at Laurel View and for the great review! We appreciate your feedback of the course and can assure you that we will continue to do all we can to improve course conditions! We hope that you will come back and play your next round with us soon!
Sincerely,
Laurel View Country Club Management
Good course for the price.
The course is in pretty good shape - nice and green as it should be in May. The traps and cart paths are in rough shape, however. The greens are a bit bumpy and slow. The front nine is longer and more wide open than the back but it has a couple of tough holes. All of the par threes are pretty long and challenging. I will definitely play here again.
Thank you for your feedback! We look forward to having you back.
Great Day
After all the rain we had the past week, the course was nice and green. Greens were a bit wet but was to be expected. It was Mother's Day and rained entire morning so very few people on course. Bunkers need addressing.
Thanks so much for the feedback and the excellent review! We're glad that you had a great day out on the course, despite the wet greens from all the rain. Please come back and play again soon!
Good round for the money
Fairways were ok
Greens are good with true roll
Traps need better sand
Layout good
shama13 - Thank you for your review! We are always working to better our course for our golfer's so thank you for taking the time to write this. We will pass the information along about the sand traps and see what we can do to better them. We hope to have you back soon!
Nice find.
LV is a bit of a drive for us but we were not disappointed. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition though the area is experiencing a drought. The holes were scenic and fun. Medium challenging - not too much rough or hazards - a good fit with our skill level. Not busy - seems like a neighborhood course. Club house bathrooms were in need of a renovation.
I also appreciate that the holes did not border streets, houses or parking. My evil golf twin occasionally hits a wild shot.
My wife and I agreed that LV will be on our rotation.
This is great to hear! Thank you for taking the time to write about our course, u430805865. We look forward to being apart of your rotation and having you back soon!
slow play
needed a ranger to force faster play. only two foursomes in front with no one else in front.
stanleygo - We are sorry to hear about the slow pace of play on your day at our course. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review about our course and hope you will try us out again in the future.
good condition
Played late morning and no waiting. Course and greens in good condition despite dry conditions last month. Will return.
No waiting and great conditions during your round...sounds like a hole in one experience at Laurel View CC!
Wide open.
Took advantage of the late day online deal and walked through 13, until it was too dark to see a ball. Can't beat the $14 deal. First time on this course and found most holes a good place to air out the driver, as there was plenty of open territory on either side of the fairways....fairly forgiving.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed the layout and awesome job finding that deal! We hope next time to get you out earlier to finish holes 14 through 18. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
Great time once we were able to play through!
Course was in great shape, especially the front 9. Pace was slow and we were surrounded by beginners. Once their cart broke down and they waved us on it was great. My husband and I will be back. Great value with golf now.
Glad to hear you and your husband enjoyed your round even with the groups you played behind. We hope to see you back again soon
very difficult for players with disabilities
nice course but several placers on the course were extremely difficult to manage for players with difficulties on hills and stairs
On behalf of Laurel View CC we apologize for the difficulty you had with the hills and stairs. Please email me directly at carlyteetimes@gmail.com
Pleasantly surprised
The course is in the best condition I have ever seen at any time I have played here. I didn't find any bunkers but looked at them and other reviews are right. You don't want to be in them, big rocks and dirt with no rakes.........good value for the money!
Laurel View is glad to hear that we exceeded your expectations and we hope to hear about more successful rounds with us!
Great Value
I heard nothing but negative comments about the course, so I went in not expecting much, but I was surprised. My wife and I played the course and while there certainly are improvements needed, it was tremendous value. The course was in fairly decent shape, a challenging layout, with some tight fairways, and average greens. Of course the carts aren't great, and the cart paths a little rough, but for less than $50, it's great. Seems to be headed in the right direction from a management perspective, and living 2 miles from it, I'll look to get back quite often.
Laurel View is happy to hear you and your wife gave us a try even with what you had heard and glad we exceeded your expectations! It is great that you are right down the road so we will be thrilled to have you back as well
Great test of golf skill
Great staff and overall good time. The greens were beat up by players and there were tons of unrepaired ball marks, but it was an excellent time overall
Glad to hear you had an overall great time and we appreciate the feedback about the ball marks
No sand in the bunkers
This was a nice course, especially the tee boxes and greens. The fairways were in good condition. The bunkers were horribly maintained and hand rocks and dirt in them. I would like to see more sand instead of hitting out of dirt. Some of the cart path was missing in parts and that would lead you to a dirt/rock cart path which I feel is not proper etiquette for a golf course. Also, the clubhouse was on the bottom of the building and in the back...what's up with that? I was so confused when I first arrived. The staff was very friendly and treated me with respect which I was very appreciative of.
Glad the staff was very friendly and able to assist you. We are aware of some of the bunker conditions and we price accordingly.
Laurel View is back
Laurel View apparently has turned the corner. The course is in the best shape in years.
I only wish they would go with different color flag sticks to define the hole.
Approach shots into multi tiered greens is difficult not knowing flag colors.
We hooked up with 2 other players and had a wonderful time.
Long course bring your A game.
Laurel View is happy to hear that your view on our course has changed for the better and that you enjoyed the twosome you were paired up with!
Would play again!
Interesting course and enjoyed the experience. For the most part the course was in good shape however, the power carts were in need of updating and repair. I would also like to see a little more sand in the traps.
Pro shop is no more than a place to register..
Back 9 is much narrower and requires more accurate placement of tee shots.
I would return and play again.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with Laurel View CC. We are aware of the power cart situation so we appreciate the feedback! We will be happy to have you back!
Great Experience
The course was very in great condition staff was great very pleasant pace of place was good overall great experience .going back on Tuesday looking forward to it
Wow to see that you had such a great overall experience that you are coming back on Tuesday couldnt make Laurel View CC happier!
Good Value for the price we paid
We got a really good rate. Rough was a little too long. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens, fairways and tees were all in average to good condition. The course needs capital improvements like upgraded carts and cart paths. Bunkers need more sand and better care. Beginning golfers will struggle as there are a lot of water hazards and narrow fairways. Interesting design for the better player.
Glad you enjoyed the design of the course and found a daily special when booking online. We are in the process of making improvements and appreciate your feedback. Please email me directly to find out more about your round at carlyteetimes@gmail.com
Skip
I know things are rocky and the deal was unbeatable but an hour and twenry minute delay because there were no carts...?
Our apologies for the wait you experienced during your round. Please email me directly to discuss further at carlyteetimes@gmail.com
