Hole seventeen can be the source of disappointment if the tee ball doesn’t land in play, but it can also be a birdie hole when it does. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

View of the 6th, looking back to tee. Timberlin’s fairways generally provide ample “airspace,” allowing players to either draw or fade drives. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/20/2022

Awesome
Had another great day at Timberlin Golf Course!!!! Armen the starter is the best. Pro shop was so welcoming. Even the young fella cleaning the golf carts was so cordial !! The greens were immaculate. Fairways in top condition. Pace of play was outstanding. Timberlin is a GEM of Connecticut!!!!
Nice Course - Recommended
Timberlin is a municipal course in Berlin, CT. Hadn't played there for more than 5 years. Course was in very good conditions - fairways, rough, greens, tees all very good. Only nit was bunkers needed to be raked. Pace of play was good @ 3:50 for 18. Staff friendliness could be better, we were hassled by the ranger on our 12th tee for no reason. He complained that we hadn't caught the group in front who had tee'd off 20 mins before us, really?
Now or never
I been trying all Summer to win one foursome victory from our foursome group. I came in second twice but this Sunday was my first victory ever with this group. I only won by five stroke, but I"ll take win. The two best player had a bad day. The course was a little slow, but we had a great time. We played behind a tournament. This course is well maintained, I could play here every weekend and recommend all my friends to play here every weekend. Omg! Don't forget to eat at the restaurant afterwards. You also get 10 percent off with your reservation ticket. It's a win win for every body. The food is really great. You gotta go in and try their food. The people inside is really friendly! Thanks Golfnow!
Golf with co-workers
The weather was really nice and the golf course staff was really friendly. The tee box, fairways and all the green was in really good condition. Playing here is a bonus for the price we paid for. The pace of play was under four hours, considering we were playing behind a golf tournament. We really enjoy yourself, no rushing we took our time and we all played really really good and everi went home happy thanks again Golfnow!
Interesting layout .... well manicured public course... great play for the money... 18 in under four hours ....
Best Course in Area
Greens were tricky but fair. Fairways were 4 Star. Rough was extremely well kept and challenging but fair. Starter was very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, this was a really nice course and experience. Very busy, yet well coordinated and priced lower than the course's beauty and layout should mandate.
Course was great but driving range not so much
Great place to play 18 holes; lots if hills, bunkers, and hazards are strategically laid out to challenge you a bit. Would recommend going else where to warm up at a driving range though. They have 1 but no drivers allowed and you are limited to only 200 yards max. Felt a bit rushed on the course and had to play with another 2some. I believe this may have been because 1 of them was running late and we were early so they teamed us up and had us tee off 5 minutes early. But, there was another 4some already waiting on us to tee off when we started with another group behind them.
Good
Friendly staff and the starter. Green is good condition. The pace is a little bit slow but endurable. Fairway is good and the rough should be a little bit trimmed.
Awesome course!!!!
From the exceptional staff to the high standards found throughout the golf course a TOP 5 in Ct !!!
Best greens !
Fairways are well groomed
The tough is fair and you can actually hit your ball!!
