One of the Timberlin’s best holes, the par-4 ninth challenges you from tee to cup. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 09/19/2023

At twelve, a mid-length par-3, the large pond is often part of the proceedings. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

Thirteen, a par-5 that borders Southington Road, will demand good shotmaking for a GIR. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

Hole seventeen can be the source of disappointment if the tee ball doesn’t land in play, but it can also be a birdie hole when it does. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

For some, twelve may prove to be the toughest par-3 at Timberlin. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/15/2022

Ten, Par-5, 498. This “road hole,” though scattered with pesky hazards, still offers a birdie opportunity when played well. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/20/2022

Great day
Excellent condition and greens rolling true. Good mix of holes.
Great course
I forgot how great this place is. Fantastic layout, perfect fairways and tremendous greens. Didn't have to wait on one shot and no one pushing us from behind. And that's saying something with a 7:25 AM Saturday tee time. Loved it. Will definitely be back
Great and Challenging Course
First time playing here. From the minute we arrived, it was positive. Armen was awesome getting us started and chatting about the course. Course was in great shape, and quite challenging. Food in the restaurant was good. We will be back!
Great course
Our group plays Timberlin at least once a month. We will probably increase our play frequency. Excellent conditions and food. The best part of Timberlin are the people, from Mark, the Pro shop staff, all support staff and of course Armin, the starter. Very polite and friendly. We'll be back.
Timberlin 5 Stars
Armen the starter makes you feel like you’re a VIP. He is polite, courteous and extremely professional. The rest of the course speaks for itself. Please play the course and say hi to Armen he’s an ex Vietnam Nam Marine Veteran!!!
nice little track
great little track - course was in good shape and it was a nice walk for sure. definitely would recommend and will be going back. cannot beat the hot deal price too.
First Time
Nice course, Great staff Starter gets you right out.
Will play this course again.
Great course, outstanding deal
Aside from the slow and inexperienced threesome in front of me and my dad, it was a smooth and easy afternoon. Loved the course and the price even more. Will return
Great course
Course was challenging with plenty of angles to play and good mix of hazards and trees. The rough is thick but not overgrown. Bunkers are well kept but the greens were aerated so putting was sometimes frustrating to judge. Got stuck behind a group of guys who would park their cart and walk 50-60 yards to their ball a handful of times, but still ended up finishing in just under 4 hours. Staff were excellent!
My Review
This golf course is one of the best in Ct. A well stocked and maintained pro shop. The staff is outstanding.
The course was in excellent shape and well manicured. I highly recommend this course
A great course to play everyone from the started to the bag men to the pro shop staff very friendly.and helpful.
If you don't try this course you are missing out on a wonderful experience
Great Course
Greens were just aerated but still the course was overall in great condition. One of my favorite places to play.
COURSE NEEDS RANGERS!!!!
I’ve played this course about a dozen times. I’ve played 18 in around 3.5 hours and also played 18 in over 5.5 hours! The course needs RANGERS! The pace of play is way too slow. There are no rangers driving around telling people to speed it up. There was 12 people on 1 tee box waiting to tee off! Don’t play here if you plan on playing in under 5 hours. If you have time to play slow, this course is for you.
Please pay a ranger $$$ to drive around keeping the pace of play up to par.
One of the best public golf courses
A great place to play no matter what time of the year. They are always doing work to improve conditions at the course.
The day we played it was “green keepers revenge”, unbeknownst when scheduling the tee time. This made the approach shots and putts very challenging which took away from the experience.
The pace of play was very slow. Had to wait to play every shot.
Hello. Thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve, and we are glad to see you rated the course conditions to be great during your game. Thank you for playing Timberlin Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
