Greens were rather slow
First time playing the course so wasn’t sure what to expect. It was myself and a friend and we ended up getting paired up with two really nice guys so that worked out well. The course was in nice shape however the greens were bumpy and slow
Excellent public course
Great layout and conditions. Really can’t go wrong playing here.

Course was in great shape, only a few bunkers needed some attention
It was busy when we got there, and they were a little behind, the person in charge did a great job of handling this. He recognized the situation and frustration of some of the golfers, myself included and came out, took charge, and we ended up playing the back 9 first and finished our round in 4 hours and 25 minutes. Been at many public courses where the office staff is no where to be found when situations like this occur. Great job.
Pace of play can be a bit slow at times, but a great and challenging course
Terrific
Great course - challenging but fair. We had three 4-somes with varying skill levels. Everyone enjoyed the course. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The greens were fast on the day we played. The starter was especially friendly and helpful; insuring that we teed off on time and that groups moved along efficiently. Our group finished 18 holes in 4.5 hours. We'll be back!

Best course public course in southern CT for the money. Conditions are always great. Layout is amazing. Greens always roll true.
Great Course - Poor Trap Maintenance
Timberlin has a great layout and grass wise, it was in great condition. However, their trap maintenance is awful...some were hardpan and looked like they hadn't been raked in over a week and others were totally torn up with footprints and no rake in sight. My round took exactly 5 hours with lots of down time waiting on tees and in the fairways. If it wasn't a perfect weather day, I might have left after the 15th hole like two of my playing partners did.
Nice course overall.
Played because of a GN hot deal. Seems our tee time had us smack dab in the middle of an
outing-tournament. Possibly a weather related delay. We got there early enough to get out just ahead of the good sized group. Props to the Starter for offering, and Pro Shop persons help to get this done. Good job!
Greens were good and fairways too. Not the most picturesque place but I've seen worse. No gps in carts but usb ports were there.
Restaurant-bar- was nice, dogs n drinks quick on the turn.
Will definitely be back!

Timberlin Golf Course continues to be one of the public courses in Ct!!
Course conditions were spot on. Some of the pin placements gave us trouble. Bunkers were tough

Pace was a little slow in the morning but ranger did an excellent job addressing it.
The pace of play was great and the course was in very good condition for a public course.
