Hole seventeen can be the source of disappointment if the tee ball doesn’t land in play, but it can also be a birdie hole when it does. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/30/2023

Great Value and personel.
Our group (24) plays Timberlin whenever we get a chance. It is one of our favorites. The course is well kept and laid out comfortably. The restaurant has some really good choices on the menu, haven't picked a bad one yet. The best part of Timberlin is the course personnel and that means everyone. Friendly, courteous and accommodating. Easily a 5 star course. It has become one of our regulars.
Fine course
The course was in great shape even after the bad storms the previous night.the pace could have been better but was much better than last week.
2nd attempt
Been here twice now. Pace of play is always pretty bad. Holes get backed up on occasion. Course conditions are nice but there’s no hole that has me dying to come back. If price was lower and I had nothing to do all day I’d consider coming back but stinks how crowded it can be.
Hello. Thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve, and we are glad to see you rated the course conditions to be great during your game. Also, your feedback about the price of our course is important to us. We always want to make sure we are offering golfers a competitive price for their round. It is our goal to give visitors the best chance to get out and play more. Thank you for playing Timberlin Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Great Value Great condition Great Track
Wonderful Muni ... one of my must plays every summer.... bunkers come into play be careful!
Very slow
It was a Thursday morning. Expected to be busy. However, there were many holes that our foursome had to wait at the tee box for long periods of time. Could not get into any type of rhythm. Many times our tee box had 2 foursomes waiting. Twice there were 3 foursomes waiting. Where the heck was the ranger?
Nice Layout, but pushy staff
We loved the layout of the course, but when we played nine holes (in like 2 hours, which is decent considering the traffic) the starter, once we made the turn, was really pushy telling us to skip holes because they had a league going off the back. We didn’t appreciate that, but besides that, the course was in decent shape (except for the greens) even though it had rained heavily the previous day
Course very good, Pace of play poor
Conditions were very good, fairways and greens.
They had us tee off on the back which usually is for evening out pace of play, Well that did not work out well.
Threesome in front of us waited until group ahead which were walkers, got to the green. Then they dumped their tee shots!! Not cool.
No rangers out there to monitor pace of play. This was a Thursday.
Fun Time at 9 and Dine
Love to play the 9 and dine at Timberlin. Course is great and the restaurant the best around. Can't do better than the cost for the 9 and Dine which is $70 per team and includes $20 credit towards dinner. So much fun!!!
Ouch
Busy Saturday!! 2 to 3 groups on some holes.
Last time playing on weekend. .
Course was A+
Eternity
Played this course today at 9:40. The starter mentioned golf now messed up their tee times. So my threesome didn’t go off until 9:50. Okay no big deal. The 2 foursomes in front couldn’t play any slower they would have went backwards. God forbid they took a wedge and putter toward the green. The course is nice with some challenging holes. But waiting 10-12 minutes per hole turned a nice mid morning golf outing into marathon. Probably won’t go back.
!
Great day of golf today with 3 other GOLF-NOWERS!!!
Nice layout. Tight but fair. Greens in great condition. Great value for money.
Excellent town course
Conditions very good. Greens sl slow but very true roll!
Record score
With a little help from the brief rain shower at the start of our round I had my best score ever. 76 with 38 in both sides, 4 birdies.
The course, as always, was in phenomenal condition !!!
Great course, one of the best in New England!!!!
