Always liked the course
Course was in nice shape as always. The only knock was pace of play on the back. You allowed a foursome in front of us at the turn and we had 4 groups waiting to start the back
One of the Best Courses in the Area
Have played this course a number of times, it's always in good condition. Staff is helpful, professional and very friendly, especially Armand, the starter. The greens area superb, a must play.
Great course
We played Timberlin just after some heavy rain and the course was still very playable. The staff, from the starters, Pro Shop, maintenance and restaurant personnel were all very helpful, friendly and professional. Pace of play was great, course condition was excellent, and food in the restaurant was very good and moderately priced. Our group will be making Timberlin a regular play.
Definitely a Favorite
No doubt Timberlin is one of my favorite courses in CT. Even with all the rain which have made other courses almost unplayable Timberlin is in excellent shape. Kudos to the entire staff for the tremendous job.
Course staff & condition excellent
Armand the starter one of the nicest guys you will ever encounter. Keeps everything running smoothly right from the 1st teeoff at 7:00AM. Pace of play is great, teed off at 7:17, walked off 18 at 11:23, was sitting in Remzis ordering our awesome Reuben with onion rings at 11:35 & on our way back to the Valley at 12:25 with full bellies from an absolutely delicious meal. ANYTHING you get at Remzis is top shelf! Course was in top shape even with all the monsoons we’ve been having, fairways were plush, greens were superb this early in what has been a VERY WET spring season. Have been a dedicated patron here since 1984, and will continue to be till my doctor tells me it’s time to hang up the cleats. Being 64 yrs old, i certainly hope that’s not for awhile yet!! PLAY IT, YOU WILL ❤️ IT!!
One of my favorite courses in Connecticut
Excellent and friendly staff, course is consistently in excellent condition. pace of play is always at an excellent pace.
They need to have ice water on the course. The water in the fountains is very warm especially during the hot summer months.
Back nine closed to carts. Had to play front nine twice. That sucked. Should be notified beforehand

Very nicely laid out.
Awesome course. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Pace felt a bit slow, however, we ended finishing a few minutes earlier than anticipated according to the clocks on the par 3 holes. Will definitely play here again.
Great Course
Very friendly staff. Beautiful course in great conditions. Second time I play this course. Definitely one of my favorites.
Great CT course
I always think I can get the course and it always gets me. Nice layout and different character between front and back.
Really nice course
The course was slightly wet and it was cart path and rough only. The course was in great shape for the beginning of the season. The starter Armen was extremely courteous and even came out to the course to see if we were enjoying the course and were enjoying the layout! Would definitely recommend the course to others. It was a great day!
Course was good all things considered
For early April a day after it rained the course was about as good as could be expected. The greens were surprisingly fast which took some getting used to. The course was pretty open (I played at 11:00) and the pace was good. The starter was extremely friendly and helpful.
Great Course
Can't wait to come back in a month when the vegetation grows in!
Two different 9 s
Love the course. Long open fairways, challenging par 3's, big greens and scenic layout. Met great players at the 19th hole.
Good Conditions for Early Spring
Played April 2nd. The course is in good shape for early spring. Greens are rolling true, if a little slow. Some debris around the edges of a few holes, but I saw clean up in progress. Definitely worth playing now. Not too crowded.
