Indian Springs Golf Club
About
Indian Springs Golf Club in Middlefield has been owned and operated by the same family since it first opened in 1964. With a terrain of rolling, tree-covered hills, the course is as scenic as it is fun to play. The nine-hole layout is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels and there is an alternate set of tees to play an 18-hole round. Though many of the fairways are wide and forgiving, there are a few tricky blind shots that will test your accuracy. The par-5 second hole is one of the most memorable. It leads you uphill before plummeting downhill to a green protected by three sand traps. Indian Springs Golf Club's second par 5, the tree-lined fifth hole, is also notably tricky. The fairway edges along mature forests, leading to a sharp dogleg right downhill to the green, which is surrounded by trees.

Convenient and challenging
First time playing this course, very friendly staff and golfers, nine holes of golf on a course that challenged you to make good shots at times and swing away at others, a great experience for anyone looking to enjoy a short round of golf on a great course.
Perfect Course
We love this amazing course. It keeps you coming back. It's a challenging course but doesn't cost a ton of money. The course is always in great condition as well. The staff is always so professional and friendly
Fun, Short 9-Hole Course
Course built into side of a hill, hence some interesting contours to the holes. Some tees with narrow passages to fairways, several with significant height differentials. Not a difficult, but nonetheless a challenging and satisfying course. Several greens also challenging. Overall a fun course. Did it on foot which given the topography will be more appropriate for the less sedentary (I'm part mountain goat). Good fun for a quick 9-holes but still tests skills.
Horrible experience
The course layout is horrendous. Every fairway is sloped side to side and it is impossible to keep a tee shot in the fairway. The course is built on the side of a mountain. Will never play there again.
Beautiful Course
What a great 9 hole course. Everything about the course makes for a great experience. The only problem is the backup at the 2nd hole. They should install a bell that you can use to signal those at the tee that it is safe to hit.
Out with friends
We always play here every friday with my three friend. We love and enjoy this place because the golf course is in beautiful condition, the greens are in perfect condition and the food is great at the restaurant This course is great for after work; It's a nine hole par 36. You cannot beat the price they charge. If you live in the Hartford County. You gotta stop by and try this besutiful little course at least once.
Nice course
Nice course lots of hill and slopes whic you must take into consideration otherwise a nice shot could turn into a disaster
Killing Time with friends after work!
Indian Spring is a beautiful nine holes golf course The fairways and greens are very well keep and groom. The staff are really friendly, it just makes you wanna come back and play this course every day. It's a nine holes par 36, I would not recomment anyone to walk the course, but it is walk able. We all enjoy playing here, I will not hesitate to come here again. Actually we gonna make it every friday a golf day after work!
Challenging 9 hole course.
Been playing this course several times a year for years. Always provides new experiences. Current owners maintain the course exceptionally well and impressive. Keep up the good work!
Excellent 9 hole course
It has been a few years since I have played Indian Springs. It was in fantastic shape. I do not recall the fence being to the left of # 2 fairway but thanks for putting it there as it saved my drive from going down the hill and being lost. I have read from other reviews that they do not let you out early if you have a Hot Deal. I got out early(Thanks Indian Springs). I finished the 9 holes in 90 min.
Course
It is a good course some parts are challenging but always a good time thanks Indian Springs for good times and thanks golf now for great price.
Consistent Course
Indian Springs is one of the best 9 hole courses around. It is always well maintained and challenging.
Nice location
Great views from the course. Some tough angled fairways, and several blind drives and tough greens. You will enjoy the challenge, or be annoyed by it. Very New England landscape.
My family really likes this course.
Short but enjoyable
Everything is great condition. Give it a try.
Skip this one!!!
Rudest people I have encountered at a golf course. I tried to switch my tee time with two other people who were waiting for a late arrival. It all made complete sense, until the course operator showed his complete lack of customer service skills. The course operator continuously badmouthed GolfNow by citing "we don't make any money off these rounds" to which I responded "Then why subscribe to their service?" I was treated like a second class citizen. And to add insult to injury, the miserable person at the snack shop refused to cook a hot dog for me, citing "a backlog of orders" which made no sense on a half empty nine hole course.
The course itself was in fair condition, the pace was slow and based on the above, it is now on the "banned course list."
