Miner Hills Golf Course

Nice experience with very friendly people that run this facility!!7

This course has a low key feel. We were all late because of traffic. Walter was very accommodating and got us out asap. It is less hilly than most executive tacks in the area making it less intimidating for new golfers.

Friendly service. Course was fun. Some challenges. Golf carts are a little dated.

I made HOLE in One on 7/13/14 on the 8th hole 120 yards with 8 iron. Very nice golf course.

This is the third course I have played on and I really enjoyed it.

Course lay out is nice. Leave your driver at home a "GREAT" place to practice your iron play. Use your long irons & Hybrids off the tees on the par 4's. Golf carts are very peppy. Course was wet as was all of CT. on May 3rd. Green are "WICKED". lot of fun for all levels of players.

Great for father son outings. Wish golfnow would have said it was a 9 hole basically par 3

Miner Hills is a family run course (and driving range) that has a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is laid back, as this is very much a course that's welcoming to the general public.

It's a Par 30 with six par 3's and three par 4's. Every hole is under 300 yards. However, the par 4 7th is straight uphill and the par 3 before it plays close to 200 yards uphill from the white tees. The course is kept in fairly good condition and there was a crew leaf-blowing when I played there. It's hard to play with a yellow ball and hit into all those leaves!

While there are not too many hazards here, most of the fairways and approaches are relatively narrow. There are some small greens too and the slopes can be tough to judge.

The prices are fair, but when I saw a deal of $9 for 18 holes and a cart (seriously?!) on GolfNow, I could not pass it up. I believe the rate is usually $21 or so. The cart also had a lot of pep. Probably the fastest cart I've used on any course!

I will be coming back here in the future!

This is a great executive course. It is tight but can offer some great rewards. They were very busy when I played. The pace of play was dictated by the players rather than the course.

Played 9 holes with my nephew who is just picking up the game. Looked like lots of other high-handicappers on course, as well. Tee boxes is rough shape, but fairways and bunkers in surprisingly good condition. Greens true but SUPER slow. Relaxed pace of play. Very good course for newbies.

Not well maintained. We were going to play 18 but left after 9 holes.

Only a 9 hole course and mostly par 3s and 4s but a great place for the money. They keep the course well maintained for its price!

This is a great course to practice your iron shots

Great 9-Hole course, built on a hillside, half of the course are either up-hill or down-hill challenging par 3s and 4s. Love going there with a 2-some, and playing the 9-Holes twice in under 3 hours. Most of the time, there is very little traffic, so you can play as slow or as fast as you want.

Great little golf course and well worth the price! Very friendly, and good golf carts, cause who likes a slow golf cart. Overall awesome experience.

I was in the area and decided to check out Miner Hills. It's a quaint, little 9 hole course nestled against I-91 on a decent sized hill. Lots of elevation changes on this mostly par 3 course featuring a few short par 4's. Yardage markers are few and far between making scoring somewhat of a challenge without a laser rangefinder and conditions are okay. The carts are very old and beat up but quicken the pace exponentially compared to walking the hills. Overall a great course for the beginner but seasoned golfers should stick to the real links unless they're introducing a family member/friend/stranger to the game.
