Classic city-club golf - always a treat
My first job in golf was as a caddie for a couple summers at Hartford Golf Club, and it is always a pleasure to get to play the course, whose three nines have recently been freshened up by Bruce Hepner, particularly the bunkering. The stretch of holes 6 through 8 (the 15th through 17th holes in this routing) is one of my favorite three-hole runs in Connecticut. As always, the course was in exquisite shape.
