no complaints
1st time playing this course. for $30 cant be the value. wouldn't pay much more than that though. interesting layout for sure. several holes crisscross and there is some backtracking. I guess once you get used to that it'd be more normal. no real complaints other than the greens were a little inconsistent. all in all worth playing for under $40.
Wet
The course was wet but very playable. I shot my best score.
Not a bad course
One of the best in the area. Has been a while since I last played this course. Greens fast but overall course was in pretty good condition . Joined two others and had a good round. Will be back soon
Always seems nice
90% all around. Tee to green, everything is above average. Looks wonderful! Generally flat but water, marsh area and a forced carry’s on the front. Back 9 first 7 holes in between houses and is shorter. 3 par 3s and 16-17 are both par 5s.
Fun course
Course is in great shape. Very forgiving wide open fairways. Friendly staff. I love playing here
A course for everyone
It's hard to imagine a more democratic (small d) golf course with a collection of hole which can challenge a good player while also allowing an average player to enjoy some highlights.
The front 9 is in much better condition that the back 9, but given the end of summer I'm not going to hold that against them since it's still in better shape than most courses around here. And it's always a good value.
Holes 2, 5, & 7 are quite difficult with very inconvenient water hazards for a lot of players (not me this round, fortunately), while several other front 9 holes (4, 6 & 8) offer good scoring potential for anyone. Front nine from white is a fair 3000 yds.
Back nine starts with four shorter holes with good scorings chances to start off, then the last five holes are much longer/harder.
Definitely worth the trip, particularly early in the year and perhaps the fall when the course should be in its best shape.
Good round
The course looks great. Fairways are clean and the greens are in good shape except for hole # 13. It got it’s challenges but an easy course for seasoned players. Good course for amateur players.
Going downhill
In about 2 month's time the course condition has gone from great to " I wont play it again" until its brought back.
Dead greens, dead fairways, rough edges on many greens.
Not worth $15 right now sadly
3.5 stars
Basically a flat course. There’s some mounds and valleys but generally flat.
Good shape, showing some summer wear and tear but a solid 3.5 stars. 4.5 hrs pace on Sunday morning at 9am. Front 9 open, back 9 has short par 4s and a short par 5 The greens were surprisingly slow for a hot day at the end of July. A couple tee boxes were rough but majority of the course is nice. Same with bunkers, a couple had standing water in them, but most were tended too recently. ( more then I can say for other course coming out of COVID)
Slow Slow Play
The staff were great. The course condition was excellent but the pace of play was horrible. We saw a ranger on the first tee but never again. The twosome in front of us took two and three shots off the tee and i counted 15 strokes for the one player on hole one. We passed them after hole 2 only to catch up to more slow slow players. We left after the 9 th hole taking 2 1/2 hours for 9. Also the markings to the next holes were very poor also.
Great
Very nice course. Really good pace. Enjoyed the round.
