Getting better and better
My first time playing at Jonathan’s wasn’t the best experience...but the experience has gotten better every time I go back. The course is close to my home so I’ve been playing it more and more...the dedicated staff are doing a great job keeping the course...and making marked improvements. I’ll probably play 40 rounds at this course over the summer and I look forward to each one. The staff has a great laid back approach that is very warm and inviting for newcomers and vets like myself. I’m very happy to say I’d recommend this course over some of the much more expensive options in this area!! Great job Jonathan’s Landing!
Great Day
Course overall in good condition. Some greens had a few bad spots. Fairways were in good shape. Traps need real sand.
Staffing
The guy at the front desk that received your money has a poor attitude never friendly or helpful. I have played there several times and this has been his attitude every time. Have spoke to a lot of golfers and they also have a problem with him. Correct this problem and you will probably get a better review. Please take care of this problem.
This course needs more works.
I have played this course frequently due to proximity to my home. Staffs are not friendly, and the course is easy to seniors, but the conditions for greens are not good.
Driving range balls
I purchased a large bucket of balls. There were only a few range balls in the bucket the balanced appeared to be balls they picked up from the golf course. All of the balls were dirty and two were damaged and unusable. After hitting the bucket of balls I returned the two bad balls to the club house and express my disappointment with the product. The man behind the counter didn't seem to care and pretty much blew me off. I wouldn't attempt to play this course based on this experience and would definitely won't be returning to the driving range.
First 9 Holed a Challenge!
We played this course for the first time on a deal through Golf Advisor for $20 a person. Based on the price it was a good value. The first 9 holes had a lot of water hazards, and my wife and are fairly new to the game, so we lost our share of golf balls.
The course was in fair shape, but some of the greens need attention. The staff was extremely friendly. We will play here again!
Parking lot
Very playable course. But today was a parking lot! It was over 90 degrees at noon and we had a turtle pass us in every hole. There were foursome lined up as far as you could see......... I thought beach traffic was bad! No beer girl either.
Jonathan Landing
Weather was extremely hot and dry, however, the greens & fairways were in good shape.
Pace of play was outstanding, due to heat, I don't
think their was a lot of golfers.
Excellent price on green fees...

Jonathan's Landing
Good time, you will use all clubs in your bag. Course is in good condition. Some easy holes mixed in with some challenging ones. It is s course you will enjoy. Good bang for your buck.
Hidden Gem
Great course especially for the price. Front nine is challenging and back nine offers nice reward - lower scores.
J Landing
Good time the manager is always pleasanr, fair prices. The course with a little love could be real nice.
Great value
Played on a hot deal and had a great time. Course was in great shape, smooth fairwaiys, decent rough. A couple greens were a little bumpy but nothing too bad. I have played this course over 20 times and it’s always fun. Especially when the wind kicks up like it did last time out.
Rude
Staff was rude to say the least . Also made a million excuses about the range etc etc not worth the trip don’t go it’s a goat farm
Terrible pace of play
The course conditions have slowly gotten better in the past couple months. Somehow the greens still have not heals from aeration a couple weeks ago, but still wasnt bad. The bad thing was pace of play. I had to quit after it took 2 hours just to play 5 holes. This is clearly the worst I’ve seen and its not even the weekend
Tee time setup....why bother?
Set a tee time for the first of that day(7AM). I was part of a twosome. When we got there, we were told to let a foursome off before us. The foursome did NOT have a tee time for this day. They definitely knew the person at the front desk. We were told that they play fast. They did play fast for a foursome, and were finished in 3 hours 15 minutes. My golf buddy and I altered our play to ensure that we did not bump into the foursome. We usually can play this course in less than 3 hours. We finished the round in 3 hours 20 minutes. What is the point of setting a tee time if the people at the course allows a group without a tee time to go first?
