Pace of play very slow needs work. I played and there was a fivesome three holes ahead of me.

Course conditions were great. Weather has been hot and dry lately, so greens were playing super fast.

They pack in the tee times every 8 minutes, so pace of play was pretty slow. (But it was the weekend, so you can expect that anywhere).

Bunkers are hard as a rock. I had to pick the ball out of them every time. Made it extremely difficult around the greens.

Other than that the course is very well maintained, and have excellent facilities with range, chipping green, and putting green. Love coming here to play.

Enjoyed the back nine but thought the front nine was easy and unimaginative

The course and staff were great. The pace off play really go backed up on hole 3 with 3 groups of four waiting. I would be nice if the had someone out there monitoring the pace of play. I would recommend playing this course.

Good conditions overall, went as a twosome with the second tee time and the starter let us out first which was huge. We never saw the foursome behind us after the first whole. Done in 3 hours, great way to play and still have the day.

Played Sunday morning @830. Started on 10 don't know why since the back is harder than the front. Anyways they pack the course. It ended being a 5 hr round which isn't terrible but not good in my opinion for that time of day. We constantly waited a few minutes on every shot. They did have rangers out but it's just too packed in my opinion. Course is in nice shape with varying holes and tight forced carries. Knowing the course definitely helps. Greens are hard and fast which I like. Food and service were both great!!!! If you can't spin the ball bounce it on. Having a in between white and blue tee box would be nice. Also agree with another reviewer the sand traps are inconsistent. Finally they should tell you holes with drop area.

A nice course and would recommend playing; however, to many golfers. They try to book as many tee time as possible and its to many. We had to start at the 10th tee and felt rushed for most of the day since there was always someone pushing us from behind and had to wait a few times for golfers in front. Since this was first time playing not sure if this happens all of the time.

I like the layout and the conditions of Rock Manor. My only complaint is that they restrict you to cart path only whenever there is any bit of rain. We were restricted to the cart path, even though in my opinion, the fairways were hard enough to support carts. Also, there were no rangers managing pace of play. At times play seemed slow.

This course has a nice layout but there are a few condition issues. Primary condition issue is that most sand traps have no sand in them and are basically hard pan. So you have to ditch the normal explosion style bunker shot and play it more like a chip off of hard surface.

Real nice course but not the course to play on a holiday. Had a 1:30 tee time and it was a half hour delayed. When we started we played 5 holes in just about 2 hours and called the pro shop to get a refund and left. They pro rated us for the 5 holes that we played and gave us the remaining value left in a rain check which was a joke. I enjoy this course and it is in really nice shape but having 3 or 4 groups waiting to tee off every hole ( holiday or not) is unacceptable. Pro rating us for the 5 holes also turned me off. Other experiences here have been all positive and recommendable.

I've wanted to play here for quite some time as I attend school right up the street. I've read reviews before about it taking 5 hours to play a round but ours was closer to 6. We didn't tee off until 35 minutes after our scheduled time and there were constant jam-ups at the par 3's and some par 4's. It is a beautiful course but I certainly won't be playing it again unless it's during the week. I would avoid weekends at all costs.

Course was in great condition, excellent fairways and greens not too fast. Great value for the money. Nice variety of hole layout, not much water.

Can't wait to play again only draw back is they charge more cause I don't live in Delaware

got a good deal for $38 on golf now. Course was in very good shape, pace of play was great. I point that out bc I've heard pace was an issue on weekends. The thing that stood out most was the guy in the clubhouse. We were running late and I called ahead. He couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. I ran into him in the parking lot after the round, apologized again and he remembered my name and said no problem. Nice change from the surly attitudes from a lot of employees at other clubs.

This course is chronically slow and has been for years. There is no effort by the management to correct this. Rangers are non existant or not effective. Greens are hard and tournament speed (12+)resulting in numerous three putts adding time to every round. Pin placements are unreasonable for the speed of the greens. Tough to call this recreational golf.

We were warned that the pace of play was going to be slow. 5 hours to play 18 holes is a little long. The course, however, was in great condition and we loved the layout. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I got this deal on super Monday. Played for $21. Golf staff super friendly. Course in good shape. Fairways have a few ball marks but greens roll nice. Challenging course, hazards to carry on the front, not many on the back. Definitely playing again.

I hadn't played this course since it had been redesigned, and the redesign was totally worth it. The course is in better condition than I have ever seen it, the layout is fun and challenging and the conditions are great. Some parts of the course are under repair but everything else is great. the greens are fast and true and the fairways provide a tight lie.

Could not believe how long we had to wait in between shots. No ranger or pace of play employee seen. the whole day. Course moved slow as molasses. Will not return, especially for the price
