Buffalo Run Golf Course

Just gets old every time I make a tea time for that course it's cart path only and I've had 10 surgeries I 10 surgeries I mean I play Castle Pines and arrowhead and there never carpet only so I really probably won't be playing that course much more it's just a joke

I loved the layout of the course. Great landing areas for well placed drives. Bunkers well placed and enough sand to make the playable. Greens we in good shape for this time of year. Lots of undulation so landing on the correct tier is import.

Course layout was challenging but the pace of play was really slow. It was about 3 hours for 9 holes. The Marshall was friendly but did not get the 2 groups ahead of us to speed up their play.

Quit after 9 holes.

The staff was very friendly and the course was challenging but pace of play was not good.

Not sure I would play there again unless I have 6 hours to play….

These folks did a great job managing tee times with a frost delay. Slow but pretty typical for a Saturday. My only problem is that there was no exception to the “cart path only” policy for disabled guests. I have serious knee issues so walking to my ball after each shot was very difficult.

They didn’t let us know that no carts were allowed on the fairways had I known I would of just walked but the course and staff are great

Course was in awful condition. Was informed it was cart path only without any advance notification. Had to wait on almost every shot. Very bad experience. Won’t be back.

Got to hole 6, cart died, took 15 min to find cell service, call pro shop, get new cart so obviously we fell a full hole back right? You’d think the marshal is competent enough to realize that. Not only did he say something to our group for something we couldn’t control, he decided to go act like a tough guy to the group behind us and tell them he “told us to skip a hole” which never happened. He came around again, I asked bluntly “how we looking on time?” He said, and I quote “looking good now”. Not a good look. Hate Karen’s, but here’s my Karen review.

Courses is Supposed to grass in the fairways obsolete on whole one and two is generally poor poor conditions Golf Carts had no windshield broken seats for tore up just a horrible experience

Course was without grass ruff was clumps of grass greens were horrible layout was horrendous would not recommend I will never play again there

It has been over a year since I played here. Was told the course was in good shape so I thought I would give it another try. Wish I didn't!

The fairways were chewed up and in desperate need of reseeding, etc. The rough was in even worse shape and the grass was very patchy making it really hard to hit the back of the ball because there was so much dirt mixed in with the grass. Imagine hitting every shot into a divot.

The greens were in good shape and rolled pretty well.

It is really a shame because the course layout is really good and it is one of the few links style courses in the area but it is not enjoyable to play on a course in this bad of shape.

Course was in great condition for the time of the year… first course I’ve played all year with real sand in the bunkers… also enjoyed the fact I had to hit long irons to reach par fours after good drives.

For the price this is my course of choice for this winter

interesting and excellent golf course that needs quite a bit of attention, in places the rough is in the same condition as the fairways, overall has not been watered or cared for enough. also,, more than once my ball took a very strange bounce due to uneven grass near the greens

Great course layout but lots of dry dirt patches. With riverdale fairly close and always in great condition I would always lean there before going to Buffalo Run.
