About
Buffalo Run Golf Course is a locally acclaimed 18-hole, municipal course in Commerce City. The links-style layout covers 7,411 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Keith Foster, there are challenging elements such as water hazards and bunkers that come into play on the course. The wind creates difficulty on this golf course. Buffalo Run Golf Course's front nine is less challenging than the back nine but it builds up good practice for the second half of the game. One hole to note is the demanding 13th hole. It is a par-3 that has a well-placed bunker near the green.

Beautiful day golfing
Wonderful sunny 74 degree day in November. Course was in good shape. The pace of play was a little slow but overall a very good day.
The course conditions were terrible
They clearly didn’t water enough over the summer. There are large areas in the middle of fairways with no grass.
5 + hour round
The threesome In front of us playing with rental clubs from the tips .. ran out of balls by# 6 , marshal intervened , group didn’t play back which helped a bit with the almost 3 hour front , worked out a little and thanks to the staff
Great Layout, turf challenges
This is a nice layout. The fairways are wide but there is no intermediate rough, goes straight to native grasses. The fairways were soft and spongy in some areas and dry and cracked in others. The sand was really deep in some bunkers and thin in others making good strikes a challenge. It's definitely a course I would recommend playing and the course conditions may be from all the housing going up around the course.
Very slow pace. Waiting every shot starting with the 10 th hole.
Course needs work
The course was not in great shape the day we played. The fairways need watering and the weeds are starting to push on to the edges.
Highly recommended
Great course! I took a star off for some less than perfect conditions on several of the fairways and a few of the greens. If immaculate conditions are your thing, this course may not be for you. However, everything else that makes golf great can be found here, enjoy!

Buffalo Run Fun
Just an excellent day. Great food, and friendly staff. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was fantastic.
Needs some help
Played this course roughly 15 years ago, it was in amazing shape. Took a buddy who had never played it and was disappointed in the condition of the course. Staff was great, course is challenging, but it needs some help. Not sure if it is COVID related but the maintenance has gone down hill. Dead grass spots were aplenty. Played much lesser courses that were in much better condition Not likely to go back.
