Buffalo Run Golf Course

Over the last few years, this course has continually been in fiery poor shape— both fairways and greens. It’s a shame because it’s a nice layout.

This course used to be kept in great shape, now it’s terrible…..lots of bare spots/dirt on tee boxes, fairways and greens. Worst conditions of any course around and yet they still charge full rates. Won’t be playing here again.

Just need to fix greens and this course would be a great place to play all the time

Course is a good value however some holes are in pretty bad shape. Overall I’ll play again.

My girlfriend and I walked 9 holes on 4/11/22. We were 20 minutes early after checking in and were discussing walking over to the putting practice area, when one of the employees offered us a ride on a cart to the practice area. The employee took us over and waited while we practiced and then took us back. This is first-class friendly service!!! We had a great round with a pair of junior golfers that were very good. The weather held up for us and it was a beautiful morning. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Fairways looked like cow pasture, greens were in decent shape. They did just cross hatch and sand greens, but needs some loving. Fairways and second cut rough needs some serious grass replacement and loving.

This is the second time golfing Buffalo Run.

For the second time, the staff is very good and extremely friendly but the course was found to be in poor condition for the following reason. There were sunflower seeds and cigarette butts on 5 of the greens. I think it would be good for the Ranger to watch who is smoking and keep an eye on them. This is not Buffalo Runs' fault, but Golf Now should have an update on their webpage so a golf course can let them know when there is going to be work done on a course so players can know that.

This round was played in early spring conditions with the greens just punched. This was a known so no consideration is given to putting conditions. Winter was a bit hard on the fairways but it looks like the grounds crew is working hard at getting the course ready for prime play. I liked the way the fairways were being planned evident by the white paint marking were they are planning on cutting the rough. Sand was in very good shape with sufficient depth to make a bunker truly playable as a bunker. if Buffalo Run isn’t on your list, it needs to be.

Had a great day on the course. I have to say that Christina is hands down the best cart girl ever!! She is very friendly and comes by several times on each nine to check to see if you need anything. I love her.

Beautiful 70 degree day!! The course was in decent shape this time of year. The cart gal was awesome.

I always enjoy playing Buffalo Run and is one of my go to courses. Conditions were decent for being the middle of winter time. There was some on course maintenance work and the pace of play was a little over 4 and a half hours.
