Bad news, no driving range and older style amenities. Good news is that course was fun and challenging. Bring your straight driving clubs. Fairways cut narrow and trees prevent anything but a punch back into play. Greens not perfect (punched within 3 weeks), but very playable. Quite pricey unless you use Golfnow.com. Lots of variation on holes, just had a very good experience.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I arrived late because of some family issues that I needed to take care of and they let us go out at a later time. Great customer service.

Course condition is very nice.
I'm going to replay this course,

I really enjoyed the round except my score. The greens were a bit unfair for a 20 handicapper like me. The rough was a bit brutal if you don't play this kind of grass. Even with that said I really really enjoyed this golf course.

course was very quiet and easy flow and some what had good time

I've played this course 6 or 7 times. At least twice from each tee box. The course plays completely differently from each tee box and is quite challenging from the tips. The greens are in great shape and roll true to your line. I will play there again.

course is in good shape but the pace of play was slow. I suggest playing early would make for a quicker round of golf.

The course was very nice and enjoyable. I just wish that they had a driving range to warm up.

The staff in pro shop were rude and u helpful. Paid $40 for golf clubs that went through a blender and the worst part is they didn't have a set of stiff shaft clubs. Conditions were average, sand traps not good. Greens were quite nice and challenging.
I would not have paid more than $35-40 to play here.
Instead paid $110 :(

Situated at the end of the road (world?). Close to te ocean, but also close to the some airports.

Really a fun course! Pure greens. We play here often because it is offered on golf now for easy booking of tee times.

From the time we checked in we were greeted with friendly people. Checking in at the pro shop was very fast and easy. Staff was very friendly and professional. Starter attendent was appealing and made us feel welcome. We were suppose to golf with 2 mens, but we let them go because they both were very good golfers. We were moving along, not very fast, but we caught up with the two players that we let go ahead. We waited a little bit and held up the golfers that were behind us. We apologized to these golfers for holding them up. They were very nice about it and one of the men said to "take your time, don't rush". He was driving a yellow golf cart. Playing golf literally across the highway from Mount Kilauea is quite a interesting feat. You cant beat the scenery, views of the mountains and you can see the steam from Kilauea in the distance. The Nene (Hawaiian Goose) is an endangered species that roams the fairways. The Greens were in very good shape, the Fairways as well. Proshop staff was nice, good deals in there as well. The one negative if you could call it that was the lack of marked cart paths' and it can get a little confusing trying to find your way.

Discipline and focus is the key here, you're adjacent to military firing range. Otherwise is all good.

A very enjoyable course for all levels of play. The course could play slow since 5-somes are quite prevalent.

Watch out for the geese or whatever they are.

other than it's remote location, good value/condition/layout.
difficult enough to make it interesting but not punishing. overall good condition. large greens makes for fun putts. area is very hot. course is at the end of fort weaver road so it is a good 15 minutes from the freeway.

Only drawback to this course is that you may have a day when there are many tourist groups and they generally play very slow. 5 hour rounds are not uncommon.

Ewa Beach is a beautiful, and wonderfully maintained course. It's very challenging to a hacker like myself, particularly the greens. I would recommend the course to any golfer.
One additional note - Ewa Beach is directly in the flight path of Honolulu International Airport, so you will contend with the noise of arriving planes.
