360 Ewa Beach Country Club
About
360° Ewa Beach Country Club is located on the Ewa Plain on the island of Oahu. This award winning Robin Nelson Designed golf course first opened in 1992. 360° Ewa Beach Country Club was the first golf course in Hawaii to plant Seashore Paspalum Grass for its playing surface. Seashore Paspalum is a grass that is an environmentally friendly turf due to the fact that it can be irrigated with non potable water.
Ewa Beach Golf Club has design features that are reminiscent of a traditional Scottish links layout. The layout is designed so the outward nine to takes you away from the clubhouse and you return to the clubhouse on the inward nine. Another feature reminiscent of a Scottish links layout is the double green located on Holes #2 and #16. This double green is the only one on the island of Oahu.
The links layout similarities end as Ewa Beach Golf Club is carved out of a Kiawe Forrest. Tree lined fairways put a premium on driving accuracy. The addition of fairway bunkers and water hazards make Ewa Beach Golf Club a truly challenging golf experience.

Worst pace of play
Here is how the starter had coordinated tee time pairings. There was a foursome, next a single, next a single, then a threesome, followed by a threesome, then me as a single player. How idiotic was that. The two single players were hitting two balls at a time. The single players didn’t want to play with others. And there was no Marshall to control pace of play. It took 5 1/2 hours to play as a single. I hope this course changes it’s way of tee time pairings.
Constant overhead aircraft
Course good, staff bad, pace awesome constant overhead noice from commercial aircraft
Price should be half
Bunkers very hard sand-dirt
Incredible round
I had the course all to myself it felt like. Nobody in front, nobody behind. The golf cart had course layout. I rented clubs and they had Callaway Mavericks and an Odyssey putter. Took advantage of being by myself and played 2 balls each hole to get in some practice. I scored my best ball of the 2 and shot an even round because, why not, It’s Hawaii, Aloha!
Great Course for the Money
The staff was very friendly, as were the golfers on the course. My wife and I were a twosome and three foursomes ahead of us asked if we wanted to play through (which we happily did). As a result, we were able to play 18 in a little over 3.5 hours. Course is fairly narrow form the tee in some places, which means taking care to keep your drives straight. Fairways were in very good condition, but the rough wasn't too bad. The greens were very fast (we were told they were rolling at 14), but were pretty true. My wife and I enjoyed playing the course and Ewa would definitely be on the list of courses I would be happy to play again.
One of the best in Oahu
It's one of the best courses in Oahu (among ones available in GolfNow). I am a visitor and think it's actually quite underrated. Excellent grass condition, interesting layout, moderate challenge, beautiful Hawaiian scenery, reasonable price. Perhaps the only drawback is that it does not have a fancy clubhouse. I played in the afternoon and finished in 3.5 hours with virtually no waiting, and almost felt it's my own private course.
In Oahu, there are some great courses but way too expensive (eg Ko Olina) or well rated but with very poor grass condition (eg Royal Hawaiian) or decent Muni course with just okay quality (eg Pali) that's probably much more expensive than your favorite local courses at your hometown. However this course is well-rounded and doesn't have such drawbacks. If you are a visitor, you probably won't regret playing in this course.
. The golf course is in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were immaculately maintained and bathrooms were in great order.
Course review
The course was very well taken care of. Staff was friendly and helpful for course layout. Definitely would play again
Enjoyed my round
All the staff were great , even though it was windy , it was great course to play. Greens are perfect and fast . Par 3s are beautiful. I would definitely come back .
EWA Beach GC
Played in the afternoon as a twosome and waited a few times on some of the more difficult holes. Carts had accurate GPS and the layout is pretty straight forward, no real hidden penalty areas. Course conditions the best I've played in awhile, Tees, Fairways and Greens great, only knock is with the dirt/sand bunkers but I think that is the average for Hawaii. Great course, recommend.
Phenomenal Experience
Was a bit nervous because there is not a range on this course to warm up, but, the tee times were spaced out so well that you could hit a couple shots on the first hole to warm up. The course was wonderful. Some challenging holes but also some forgiving holes to make up for some tough shots throughout the round. The grass is phenomenal, not the usual Bermuda that is used in warm climates. Sand traps are challenging, the sand is not super fine. But it’s unique to Hawaii.
Staff was excellent. Pace of play backed up a bit at one point with 4 groups on one whole but eventually spread out. Highly recommend.
The course was well maintained and in excellent condition. We were on a great pace of play to finish under 4 hours, then caught up to the group in front of us. To our surprise it was a fivesome. Very slow and each golfer took 5 practice swings before hitting the ball. The back nine took over 3 hours to play. Groups were backed up behind us and the group in front of us seemed to deliberately be playing slower. Not being ready to hit when it was their turn.
like aa countryclub
The fairways are perfectly maintained and the greens we’re beautiful. Such a wonderful course. We plan to play again.
